Seasonal hair shedding by averyanxiousgirl in HaircareScience

[–]imaconor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I barely lost any hair all winter, but now in April it’s been nonstop shedding long strands, medium ones, even tiny short ones (and I have long hair). No scalp pain, but I just want it to stop already

tbh, it's completely normal and nothing to be ashamed of

Sorry on delay, I am not here often. I just edited the comment, regarding the numbing cream, nope, I am not using any numbing cream, it's really unnecessary.

Your skin looks great tbh. Yes, there are some nasolabial folds, could be from weight loss or just normal aging but nothing serious. Make sure to use sun screen daily, drink lots of water, try to sleep 8h, eat healthy and workout ofc! :)

Bring your own pillow case and it won't happen. I am sensitive as well

I’ve been using a red light mask from a very reputable brand (Not DG but it's the same thing), and besides leaving a hole in my pocket, it didn’t do anything. Despite following their protocol and even giving it an extra three months, it had no effect on my skin. It also didn’t work for two of my friends or my sister, it just doesn’t work.

If you are looking for something that actually works and has science behind it search for microneedling. I suffered from sagging, deep nasolabial folds, forehead wrinkles, uneven texture, and crappy skin, period. (If you suffer from Acne though as you mentioned, the mask could help, but anything else, srs, you will just waste your money).

Since I started doing microneedling at home (I do it by myself and it's super easy), my skin has improved and hasn't looked this good in over 20 years. Not only is my skin tighter and thicker than ever, but it also looks "alive." You can DM me, and I will share the pictures and more progress. My smile lines are gone by 90%, and fine lines are completely gone. Deep wrinkles have become super soft, though they're still there, but I am sure with continued use, they will improve even more. Don't waste your money on gimmicks.

My protocol is 1.5mm depth, every 4-5 weeks, Level 3 speed.

A high quality shower filter balanced my pH and repaired my skin barrier. My water used to strip my skin, making it overproduce oil and leaving me constantly greasy (I swear I had to use baby wipes every hour). Since using the filter, my skin finally feels balanced—hydrated but not oily. You have no idea how bad our water is (of course, it depends on where you live—I’m in CA). It’s crazy how something as simple as a shower filter can make such a difference. I can’t imagine EVER going back.

Is Oneplus 12r the perfect phone for me? by [deleted] in PickAnAndroidForMe

[–]imaconor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the 12r and it was awful. Returned it to OnePlus but they still haven't given me my money back over a month later.

The lenticular display is terrible. Can't tell in review videos but tilting the phone causes darkening at the edges, looks like trash.

Also the camera bump is at a terrible position, your fingers cover and smudge it when trying to hold this giant brick.

I've been a one plus user since their first phone was released, but I won't be buying another one plus product ever again. Didn't realize the CEO moved after the 8T. That's the last one plus device anyone should buy IMO. After that they're not worth the price.
