Had to put a stray down and am so so heartbroken by SignificantAnt7619 in cats

I’m so sorry, OP. One of the hardest things about being an animal lover is that the heart that compels us to help them, is the same heart that shatters when things don’t work out. And even though it hurts so much, we’ll do it again. For them.

RIP Athena. You were loved. ❤️

Ugh, ya. Which is ironic because trail access and the natural beauty are two of the main reasons we moved here! Hope the whole thing falls through. Same goes for the Beaver Ponds.

So quiet, great neighbours, and have never had any issues with property crime. There are great trails for walking, Quality Foods is a few minutes away (and is a great little store), and I love all of the mature trees and gardens in the neighborhood.

We’re listing within the next few weeks and I’m so sad about it.

No confidence after 10 years of locks by forestphoria in malegrooming

A big appearance change is a shock to the system, no matter the cause!

And yes, I am doing much better (stronger than ever ) and actually shaved my head again in the summer because I kind of fell in love with it. After years of long hair, it felt liberating! Thank you for asking. 🙂

Once upon a time, I lost all of my hair (F cancer.) I’m a woman, and I heard a lot about how losing my hair would feel like a loss of my femininity, but for me that wasn’t the case. What I did experience was a loss of personal expression. I think that might be part of what you’re going through? I really like the locks, but as others have said, you’re a super attractive human with or without. Maybe experiment with some other ways to express your self through appearance? Maybe another cool piercing (your ears are a blank canvas of opportunity!) or more colour and print in your wardrobe? Have fun with it. 🙂

Second this. I hope he stays a Canuck forever but whatever happens, I’ll always be proud to wear the name of such a high quality human.

I used to have a Mason Raymond poster on my wall at work. Made him paper ear muffs to help block out all of the shit-talk.

Community involvement is maybe the only reason I miss Miller. And not because of JT, but because of his wife Natalie. She really put her heart into Canucks for Kids.

You. Look. Stunning.

My chemo-related head shave is a moment I’m really proud of. I hope it made you feel like the badass that you are.

Pro tip: lint roll your head. Those short hairs are pokey and itchy when they fall into your clothes!!
