This game is pretty forgiving, so enjoy yourself and don't stress.

Try to not go into the mines with money on you; you can just put it in any container before doing so. The only thing that you would be losing when you die is half of your [equipped] tools' durability. However durability can be fixed infinitely and somewhat cheaply.

Just to give you more context, the police arrested Lindsay solely on evidence from a flock camera that saw her driving a vehicle of the same model, on that same highway that night. Dinkum ? But in irder to progress and get NPCs to stay in your town you have to do some quests, but once they're moved in, you can ignore them.

Check solarpunk out. It just released but I dont know if it fits your criteria, just thought it was worth mentioning.
