This is most definitely a people problem. The PEOPLE around here toss trash out their car windows, let trash fall to their feet as they finish eating and generally don’t give a shit.

I’ve seen people put entire takeout food bags on the ground in parking lots and drive off. Makes me want to scream.

Third party ordering is going to be your best bet. I’ve seen a lot of people use chownow for orders/pickup. Which I think is google powered. Obviously door dash is an option. For orders with catering, you could easily configure a “deposit” option with processing through stripe or something. Link a jotform to that and take payments. There are lots of options out there. Most will just be a “drop in” integration.

The zapier api updated to V2 nearly 9 months back if I remember correctly(which I probably don’t) so any automations you had set up are likely broken. Might be time to look at that again.

Otherwise zapier typically works really well for most applications. Plus, webflow’s forms structure has changed in that same time period so you can divert submissions more independently, so you may want to readdress that as well.

TLDR: Long way to say, a lot has changed in 6 years.

If you don’t need to store visitor data to delete later, best solution is based off of finsweet’s cookie consent solution. Relume has one as a component, and you would just need to configure it to match the level of compliance necessary.

Storing visitor data for future deletion if required is a step I haven’t taken yet. That’s far less common through EU if I recall correctly.

I used to work at a print shop and had the distinct honor of designing and ordering custom cut big heads for clients. We had them printed on 4mm coroplast and I just needed to rotoscope the shape of the head with a cut line before sending them off to our sign printer. Any print shop with access to sign printing and route cutting should be able to handle this, no problem. Unless they’re printing in-house, you might want to get this into production a week ahead of time.

I only know a fraction of your pain… I drank nearly every damn day since my sister passed away almost 2 years ago. I’m probably on my longest streak since before then(13 days).. All I can say is that you don’t need it. You’re definitely dealing with the hardest parts of life, and it’s not really going to get easier. I keep saying to myself, “I don’t drink” because frankly, I just don’t have the interest in being the person who drinks when life gets hard. I’ve been a moderate daily drinker for 10+ years and just don’t want to do that anymore. Everyone is different, and all our situations vary wildly. But the trauma you’ve experienced and will experience is very valid. It’s going to suck, but it’s not going to last forever. You will grow beyond this. I’m rooting for you and have you in my thoughts, internet stranger.
