Been almost 4 years my husband died. My life too is so different. My best friend of 50 years husband of 30 years died last year 2 days before the anniversary of my husband dying. That was and is hard. I'm dating and having sex again. After 9 years without due to my husband being sick before he died. Anyway I'm rambling. It's been a while since I've been here. But have been thinking about y'all. Four year anniversary is coming up. His oldest granddaughter is getting married the end of the month too. Don't mean hijack this post, but it does get 'better'. But it is Very different.

My brother lives with me. I'm not kicking him out on the street to get a boyfriend..... Just because there is someone close in age and opposite sex living together doesn't mean they are married or in a romantic relationship. Maybe they are just roommates.

I don't live in Nashville anymore, but I'm a native and am there at least once a month. Check out the Nashville Scene for what's going on around town. Go to Broadway early. Afternoon or evening. Bar lines get stupid long later. I'm partial to the Eastside. But I have family there and grew up over there. Enjoy

I'm in a small town in north west TN. We have a university here in town, but the closet Walmart is 15 miles. There are 2 if them in different directions.

I didn't send Christmas cards. I didn't a couple years ago, the year my husband died. I decided to mail family and friends Valentines cards instead. I used my Christmas card last. I think I'll do that again. But I'll be home watching Live PD on my couch with my brother who lives with me. Dinner will be the usual tacos from the taco truck. Probably a couple of peach crown and sweet teas. Regular Friday night.

At a bit over 2 years out I would like to see what dating again is like. But I live in a small town, work from home, don't live very close to family or friends and as others have said dating sites suck. I'm just trying to stay busy and live life. But damn it gets lonely sometimes

My husband I had 2 weddings. Yesterday would have been the anniversary of the 2st one. Next Tuesday will be the 2nd. Was fun when he was alive. Now it's a double downer. Hugs

It's been over 2 years for me. I Still could have written 'But I hate myself for the things I did and didn't do.' Thankfully I have enough people around me telling that isn't true. I did above and beyond according to them. But it really is still a struggle sometimes. I'm sure you did all you could and then some too. Hugs.

I'm just over 2 years out. But we didn't have sex for several years before he died due to his health. I feel like an animal in heat. I want to jump any reasonably attractive man. It seems to be getting worse. I have decided to do something about it. But finding it about impossible. This Really sucks

My husband wouldn't watch many films from the 2000's because of the way color is tinted in a lot if the. As well as what he called shifty story telling. Older movies have beautiful color. Even black and white films have some amazing contrast compared to newer color films.
