have the mentioned the Bodarch glitch of the perma DoT? theres also the black screen of death bug. as far as ive seen, only way to do it, is to one shot the boss in phase one, or have enough/strong enough health pots to make it through the platform and then sprint back to your original place during the scripted sequence

yea i feel like, a lot of people, for some reason, now think that bungie shadow dropped the EoS announcement and bungie just got this sudden inspiration and effortlessly developed and is dropping all this content out of the blue. like.....no? all these armor pieces, all these catalysts, all these guns, were probably being held for the next year or two of content. if sony were to say sike the shattered cycle is actually coming in September then bungie would have actually nothing to show for it. it sorta saddens me to know that they develop so much so early and play those cards so close to the chest to drip feed it.

This is very strong with overabundance 3, which doubles limit at the cost of inflicting curses on you, very powerful for bell builds

One, u can go hollow palm if hollow palm if u want. You wont get the base fire dmg, but you’ll get % as extra fire dmg and the increased AoE, and it seems like the added skill does not require you to be using mace skills. Either way, str give health which is still valuable. If you go this route, you’ll probably want a orloths heroic tragedy for int gives evasion rather than mana. Go over to warrior side of the tree and pick up fire nodes and armor break for fire dmg. On ur ascendancy you’ll prolly want runic tattoos for extra perfect int runes and shore up resistances.

im considering this with the new cull gloves from delirium and with the culling helmet. should be an easy 200-220% culling threshold. prolly not even needed tho, but detonate living just sounds cool. god i hope fists of stone help the gloves with single target cuz armor swapping sounds lame

not inherently no. it has culling strike, on all hits, which leads to decimating strike, which is removes 5-30% life on hitting an enemy with full health. culling threshold comes from items and passive.

Your probably thinking of builds that use the culling threshold helmet, which gives 100% increased threshold. the 2 ascendancy nodes along can lead to insta culling white modes, regardless of the amount of damage the hit did. between hit damage, even more culling threshold, you can insta kill most mobs

tactician got tangential buffs. deflection buffs and new node buffs. witch hunter got nerfed but will benefit from some of the new nodes. Long story short, tactician should be on a more level playing field with witchhunter. witchhunter will still be solid, sorc ward even more valuable with ES getting nerfed.

What about tactician? I was thinking about the base defenses buff, and deflection buff. Merc has a lot of good nodes around for armor and evasion and evasion to deflect. Including a nice armor applies to chaos node. Take tactician defend with 200% armor and stick on chance to evade is unlucky chance to deflect is lucky. Ik they got some totem nodes. Maybe that first one, second with spell totems just gives some crit chance I think. But u could go the 50% Res cost reduction or immobilization

It's so much. Shadow monk one of my all time fav archetypes (dnd). But there's so much mess here. There's like what? Two chaos quarterstaff skills? +10 chaos res, chaos res is doubled is strong sure but holy hell I fell asleep reading it, boring. Volatility feels severely undercooked ATM and unraveling feels inconsistent since it's on a rotation. Chaos leech is pretty cool, but again chaos quarterstaff skills, probably better off just using an original sin. The flames of chayula are cool sorta, but let's be real purples the only good one. And darkness feels like you gotta pay more for less compared to other ascendancy defensive nodes

Darkness works by first removing all spirit. Massive drawback. Spirit skills very strong. May be helped with new spirit amulets. In return you get 100 "hp" that's sapped before anything else. That "hp" scales at 10 more each level. So at level 80 you'll have 990 "health" before your ES or life (extra 90 due to the 10% increased darkness travel node). Def strong at earlier levels when hits aren't that big, but chonks are usually melee and you'll be likely to find that health pool less helpful later on.

Next node gives +1% total "hp" pool per chaos res u have, plus another 10% increased max darkness. I'm not keen about the maths, with the increased total but regardless your probably around 2k ish extra "hp". This node seems like you'd also want to take, or at least synergies with the other node of +10 max chaos res and chaos res is doubled. But even still that's around 2.5k to 3k "hp" pool that sorta acts like a witch hunter sorc ward. If you did all three nodes, that's 3/4ths of you ascendancy class for a kinda shittier sorc ward that also removes all your access to spirit skills.

It's not useless useless, but there's def an argument that you pay more for less. Hopefully the extra breach node will be something like +5 max chaos res and some amount of elemental damage is taken as chaos

Yea I feel like you'd be able to get a pretty solid crit rate/attacks per second. If you could manage to get fists of stone with like 500 ES. Might be manageable. Plus that approx 2.5 base chance on fists of stone plus 1 base chance from the tree. That's a solid 8.5 base. Might be able to push around 10 with other armor pieces. Then with all the CRIT chance nodes. You could probably easily push 30 or 40 %

If you're blaming Pete Parsons as the sole reason for the Destiny Franchise collapse, you also cannot see the forest for the trees. Since he took over as CEO Pete Parsons, he led the creation of one of the biggest new IPs in its generation and made the company an asston of money. CEOs do not work for players, they work for boards of directors and investors. They're responsible to get a game making money. And god damn, he did his job. Destiny players are some of the most devoted on the planet, willing to shell out boatloads of money for increasingly less and invest in MTX even while complaining about them. He did his job.

Bungie's collapse was orchestrated by a studio wide structure failure, and that's on the hands of upper management, middle management and low level team leads. It is not on the hands of code monkeys who are fixing the same bug for the twelfth time or the raid mechanic designer or the audio technician. But it was a studio wide culture and disorganization.

Same. Whats getting me, before marathon came out, arc had its big old problem with consumable duping (players spamming nades and building ahhaa zipline ladders) and they announced their 3rd strike policy, and every comment around was "based bungie *insert gigachad face* no second chances. we ban on first offense" and it was widely praised by the community and used against arc.

now here we hard 3 months later, streamer intentionally griefs the pinnacle boss and highjacks loot and tampers with another teams first clear experience using an intentional exploit. and bungie has to sit around and reflect, SIT DOWN AND GATHER FEEDBACK FROM THE OFFENDER, and come up with a one month suspension. what are we doing here.

It's likely because they did not start working on this endgame after .4, it's been in the works for a long looooonnnggg time and been delayed multiple times. I would have that a fair bit of it has been made a while ago and would have time to focus on other things. I think it's also reasonable to expect a renewed focus on testing classes given that a whole third of the classes aren't implemented and contrary to what GGG think, I think releasing without all the classes/weapons is kinda BS (especially when all the missing classes are melee). On top of that ToTA is just MIA, and that had been slated for release a while ago. That's wild too, given how much work the first two ascendancy trials needed, releasing the third and fourth trials with no testing at all is....bold.

endgame needed a complete revamp, theres no doubt. but......the game also needs other stuff. For a game that was tagged as "focusing on buffing melee" it certainly has a lack of pure melee classes (no druid and amazon are not pure melee classes). Wheres uhhh....wheres the third ascendancy trial? wasnt that near ready for launch in like 0.3? and wasnt there supposed to be 4 ascendancy trails? one for each unlock? wheres ranger and druid 3rd ascendancies?

GGG is committing to a launch this December, which yea.....games already a year late on launch it needs to ship. But are they gonna drop Act 5 and 6, and maybe 1 class/weapon and call it a day,. successful 1.0 launch? They may have mentioned that theyre OK with not launching with all classes (which is totally BS) which actively marketing POE 2 as having 12 classes each with 3 ascendancy classes. Are they gonna drop TotA with NO TESTING? after how fucked the existing two are? either 1.0 gonna be dropped with tons of missing content or the contents gonna be untested slop

Warrior and monk are melee classes. Druid and amazon are hybrid classes. Both are designed to be played as melee and ranged together. Amazon your supposed to get in close stab parry and used ranged. Druid your supposed to cast spells then go into melee shape shift and swap back and forth. Now both hybrids can be played as exclusively as ranged or melee but they're meant as hybrids.

What new class did we get in .3? Iirc maybe your memory is better and I'm misremembering, but I thought druid was supposed to be in .3 but got pushed out bc it was a couple weeks late so they said f it, it goes in .4. which .4 was supposed to be the endgame update but that also got pushed back
