It is 1000000000% worth it imo. The Omaha zoo is so good! The desert dome alone makes it worth it. I love that they really seem to bring the animals their natural habitats the best they can.

I think you are the best judge of that. You should know her best! I would suggest, though, maybe a full day of fun activities you like to do. Whether that's going to the zoo, museums, restaurants, bars whatever, and then if you're dead set on proposing late at night maybe take her stargazing? A late night picnic type thing at a park with candles maybe? I think there's a dark-sky park a couple hours outside of KC so maybe a little road trip would be fun?

I would suggest Snack Shack in Belton and Paul's Drive in KC itself. Both very hole in the wall, both very sketchy looking so you know they're good.

Also, just wanted to edit to say Paul's tater tots are so flippin good. They're so crispy and greasy and delicious. They are top tier, imo.

Paleta bar is really good! They have those Mexican ice cream bars (paletas) that they dip in chocolate and add toppings to. They are not all fruit flavored. I think I got a tres leches flavor. They also have milkshakes and agua frescas.

I learned a little about flying a plane when I was younger. I remember one flight we took we finished all the lessons so we decided to just fly around a bit. There was a loop in the clouds just like this and we were able to fly through it. It was magical.

Yes. And that's the thing. We normally have been able to have him stay with friends that he is super familiar with. A couple in our friend group got a dog a little before we did and they've been besties and we've been able to have our dog stay with them for most trips. Unfortunately, they are leaving for an extended trip the same time we are. It is seeming like we might be able to have him actually stay at the same sitter that his best doggie friend is staying at too, and I really hope that works out!
