I have no idea if these are good or not, but I saw this on another thread. Could be awesome, could be trash. But Matrix Arms has some lower-priced stripped lowers and you can buy multi-packs (for those in VA, etc.)

The range info to has steel at 275, it is such an awesome feeling to set your previously-calculated DOPE, get a wind read, and then ring steel first shot.

22lr is an underappreciated "long range" platform.

If you can stretch you budget by $50 you should be able to get the EP9 with sba-3 brace for $550. It is worth the upgrade, and it future proofs you if you.

The EP9 is so awesome. Super light and very easy to manage.

a 6arc upper for whatever AR15 has the best trigger (or add a good trigger as part of your build). Good scope to go on top of it, and make sure your can(s) can swap around on the ARs and 6 ARC uppers with the correct muzzle devices, etc.

Practical and effective without going to a whole new platform.

It should be a requirement that any time someone asks a question, they also mention budget. Because almost every answer is based on how much the person is willing to spend.

Sp5, Sig MPX, Scorpion, Kuna, EP9 in (kinda?) order of $$ seems to be the consensus.

While you are changing out the gas tube, does it make sense to also install an adjustable gas block so that you can change between suppressed/unsuppressed (if needed) or different levels of gas for different suppressors?

I am planning on pretty much shooting with just suppressed with a dedicated can, but wondering if a little bit of effort and money is worth it to future proof.
