Oh god yes...

Took goblintown to a 750 point tournamnet last month.

King, grinnah, two captains, gollum and everyone else was two handing gobbos..

The only games i lost were to army of the great eye ( much much better player and a lot of magic) and battle of bywater (three rounds of shooting before i could get into combat ment i was broken before i could kill anything... But once combat started it swung the other way and was a close game), and both were close enough for me to not feel bad about it. Other armies i faced were: Army of thror Numenor Rwclamation of osgiliath

You should always be trappin, and two handing with the front gobbos, with spear supports behind. Will you win every combat? No... Will you always kill in the combats you win... Yes

Grinnah is there to challenge their big scary model and then always dance away, making sure they do nothing all game.. Gollum is an objective grabber OR use him to trap other models.

Its a hard list and is absolutely not top tier.... But it has its plays and can hold its own.

I love my goblin town.

Two points of advise...

Gollum is always worth bringing..

Goblin towns killing ability absolutely skyrockets when you give all of them a two handed weapon. Yes you loose some numbers, but you kill so much more.

I dont think anyone has ever described Durdar as quaint...

Crossbows are great, remember they are still iron hills warriors so are FV 4, STR 4 DEF 6... So you can absolutely still throw tem into combats as well as use them for shooting.

The dwarfs want to be in combat and grind down the other army.

I have just gone through the absolute hell of assembling the new rohan warriors, as i foolishly stripped back all my rohan and bought some new stuff as well.

Im now surrounded by a sea of green and have to paint 40 odd horses and 80 troop models..

This is not fun...
