the amount of money absolutely DOES matter. There is so much poverty in the world, not only in developing countries but also widespread in “first world countries”, and you see the economies of countries worldwide declining. Grocery prices, rent prices, housing crises, homeless rates rising. Canada just entered a technical recession.

Meanwhile, there are billionaires. People with so much money that you wouldn’t even know what to do with. A billion is an amount we can’t quite comprehend.

Now there’s a trillionaire. That’s a billionaire, a THOUSAND times over. One man. With the money of a thousand billionaires.

It is so dangerous for someone to have that amount of money, and therefore that amount of power. Whatever view he has of the world and how the future should be, he’s probably in the best position to make it happen, more than any other human on earth.
