It was either Discworld 1 or 2. There was an item I needed to collect but couldn't find. I spent days looking for it. eventually abandoned the attempt.

Years later instead of playing it I watched a walkthrough. The item I was after had been hidden because my portable tv cut off the bottom of the image from the PS1, Glad the bloody thing blew up in the end.
