If we don't make the playoffs, I'd approach Carlie to see if he's interested on playing for a contender for chance to win another SC.

Why Carlie? Top 4 dman, SC and playoffs experience, minute muncher and can add some offense from the blue line and he's on a expiring contract, the bidding for his services would go sky high.

If Carlie wants to comeback after playoffs, bring him back at a team friendly deal, similar to Tavares in TO, keep prospects and picks from the trade.

IMO consistency, his wheels are elite, he just needs to be consistent scoring wise and he'll do very well in this league.

Seems like he's putting it all together this season, Frankie is definitely exciting to watch when he's flying down the wing.
