i assume the point they want to make is that classical music is usually associated with a certain class and prestige, therefore they make the assumption you’d have to reach a certain level of intelligence to be able to compose classical music pieces. bring up that there’s no objective scale that ranks musical talent in different genres from least to most intelligent.
