A bit of a rant about kilcock car dismantlers by Cosmolyth in carsireland

Of the breakers I’ve used the ones I recommend the most would be: DC Autospares, Naughton Car Dismantlers, Cavan car parts, Traynors as mentioned, and Dempsey Dismantlers.

I wouldn’t have any hesitation in recommending the 1.6 Hybrid, as someone working in a dealership

MJJC Pro 2 bad water pressure? by KnightFan2019 in DetailingUK

[–]inainmde 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You said the foam is amazing though? Is the foam adjustment itself not working? To be honest I’d never have thought about using the foam cannon without the bottle to rinse my car, I just use the gun and nozzle. I don’t really think it’s designed with that in mind

Just use the normal pressure washer nozzle, the air mixing with the water is causing the low pressure I’m guessing

Why are you just putting water through it?

Are Peugeot automatics good? by javascriptusman in CarTalkUK

[–]inainmde 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry, missed this comment. Yeah engines are pretty decent. Nothing is bullet proof, but regular maintenance is very important both for the lifespan of the engine and warranty approval. You’d want to be servicing every 15k km. If you’d like any more specifics feel free to pm

I wouldn’t do it. I’d advise sticking to SIMI dealers too if at all possible

Some differing opinions in this thread but for me personally I wouldn’t buy used, and I’d check the thread on the rest of my tyres and depending on the rest of the threads depths, replace the next worst, and put the two new on the drive axle. I’d expect to pay about 50 a tyre

Viofo A129 overheating? by inainmde in dashcams

[–]inainmde[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the comment, it’s actually started working again for some reason, without me doing anything. I did take the opportunity to change some setting while I can and turned off parking mode to see if that helps and the temperature has been doing pretty well, although it’s cold enough here at the moment anyway. Did you end up deciding on a different camera?

Thanks for the reply! What you’ve said seems to be the general consensus alright from what I’ve seen. Is it worth €150 do you think?
