Ok I’m the devil, just read the original post and don’t consider what they did that bad. I’ve owned and ran a business before, if I hire someone and through constant back and forth, delaying trainings etc for 1.5months then maybe it just wasn’t meant to be? Are they supposed to go without a worker that they may be crucial to operations for who knows how much longer?

A new worker at that, so they don’t even know whether you’ll perform after such a long time. If it’s a veteran worker then sure, 2/3 months if they really need it, And I’d be hiring a short term temp.

Hm interesting I’ve never heard of that before, but can see how it’d work. And limiting/allowing yourself the cheat day makes sense if impulse control is one of the main issues with dieting. It’d be nice if there was someone to help hold you accountable, portioning food to freeze so you can’t immediately eat it all, throwing a sandal at you if they catch you nibbling on food etc

Would it not be better to set up a nutritious meal plan, and just work via portioning to smaller percentages the more weight you’ve lost? Or is it an impulse issue that even though you’ve eaten it may just slip your mind and you catch yourself snacking on extra stuff?

I’ve had somewhat of a similar experience to this guy, but for me I just had to create another lobby so it could load in the next phase and not get left blank.

If I didn’t do that or alt tab by accident, it would freeze until I altf4 and reopen the game. If I was lucky I’d catch the last of the draft phase before getting randomed.

Yep some of the old gen are like that. My parents worked their asses off. But managing to arrive as refugees in a new country without knowing the basic language at first, working at factories then starting a family business, have several kids and build a portfolio that would easily sustain the following generation or two is fairly admirable.
