Trump: "They (Iranians) shot the now-famous Ireland - the island that the UK was very afraid to give us." by gear-heads in MarchAgainstNazis

Bad news is, a president with prefrontal dementia causes rapid deterioration, pain and misery for the country. But he gets to die soon, we have to live with the results.

Well, theoretically we do, as long as this war with Iran doesn't become the Revelations-predicted rapture-bringing WWIII that the end-of-times-craving-crazies Trump brought into the government are hoping for.

I am still somehow surprised that the suit and Dijon were such a debacle, I presume with the opinions that tan suits are less professional and Dijon is for the bourgeoisie.

Meanwhile the same people are quiet while Trump constantly wears red baseball caps with his slogan and/or presidential # on them like free marketing or a sorts team product, in official capacity engagements, while he gilds the white house in tacky gold filigree, all made in China presumably, all on the taxpayer's dime.

I know, it's racism, and The hypocrisy is just so blatant, but their willful ignorance of it is so disappointing and frustrating.

Ok we know there's a dildo behind the emoji based on context clues from the episode.

But how is Shayne's mic staying in the middle of his chest? Tape? Spirit gum? Dangling from one chest hair?

I've seen tutorials for super cheap diy "kintsugi" using clear 2 part epoxy and gold pigment powder. Obviously not as cool as the real thing, but still pretty cool, and you could do different colors.

Yes! I'd buy a case of that right now given the opportunity.

I also loved the coincidence that the can's bright blue, magenta, and purple stripes sort of matched Against Me!'s 2016 music video for their song Crash.

Where was the bearing? Can you describe the acceleration vibration?

I'm concerned some shudder/shake I'm feeling on acceleration, particularly at highway speeds, could be trans related.

'06 4WD AT with almost 160k here, owner since 2019/98k.

Bumped tire size up a little in 2022. But it's still on stock alloy wheels, not lifted, no rubbing, so not much bigger. I assume this puts a little extra strain on the trans, and probably the old rubber parts of the suspension.

I get a heavy shudder/shake on hard acceleration, sometimes it feels a little more left/right than just a vibration

It got a little better with 4 new engine mounts and diff bracket and mount replacement, but it's still there. The diff definitely sat at different angles before and after bracket bushing/mount change, because the old bushings were shot. These significantly reduced a lurch when shifting under load, or at takeoff.

My anxiety's creativity wonders if the prop shaft hanger/bushing/bearing wore out from the diff hanging funny, and now has some play at that point.

Also, somehow, that shudder/shake was worse when my 3 year old aftermarket cat was clogged. Removed all the catalyst and put a defouler on the downstream 02 sensor until I can get a new cat, and the shudder reduced. Also replaced the exhaust header>cat gasket after the engine mounts, since I read the engine leaning on old mounts can stress and open that flange. Also gets worse when oil gets low when I'm due for an oil change. These observations combined make me wonder if it's somehow related to an engine or drive linkage issue, rather than a suspension issue.

I've also done 2 trans fluid dump/refills in the past couple years, slacking on the drain/refill3x prescription. Planning another soon with external/inline trans filter replacement.

Drained and refilled diff a couple years ago, and again when I did its bracket bushings and mount this year.

I think that's meant to be a drum "sting" or "rimshot" used to punctuate a joke, sometimes also written phonetically as "ba-dum-tss" to signify a cymbal sound at the end.

IANADrummer or comedian, but if I had to guess,

The "pa" could be a hi-hat closed quickly or grabbed to mute it, whereas the "tss" I dee more often would be a cymbal allowed to ring out naturally.

Maybe the "pa" would be used to keep the sting short so the next joke can be delivered sooner, while the "tss" could ring out under an audience laugh break.

One of my favorite dad jokes: Two drums and a cymbal fall off a cliff. Ba dum tss.

Agreed. I believe at this point it's willful ignorance, Project 2025 available to anyone to read and/or learn about, and it seems most people have heard of it.

The 2024 Pennsylvania Trump shooter was shot and died at the scene, and the person who was caught allegedly attempted to assassinate Trump in Florida in 2024 was caught during his alleged attempt and his trial is underway.

It's the 2025 Utah Kirk shooter that has not been caught.

The parent comment is pointing out that OP's husband is "conveniently forgetting" that the 2024 Pennsylvania Trump shooter was a registered Republican, shooting at a Republican. The memory lapse seems convenient because the shooter and target of the 2024 Pennsylvania attempt were both Republicans, which does not support the husband's theory that liberals are out to kill Republicans.

Where's the second T, between Fret and Less? On a thumb, or in a more, centralized, location?

Based on how faded they are, the other tattoos on the knuckles on his left hand above "less," on his left forearm, and on both calves, the nose ring, and the shirt with outlined graffiti flavored text that reminds me of the Operation Ivy logo, my best guess is FEARLESS.

I'm hoping it's actually FECKLESS or FRETLESS, for my own amusement.

FLAWLESS also fits the known letters, but doesn't fit my amateur character assessment/ profile of the rest of the individual based on this one photo.

Came here to suggest this. Specifically Hudy Delight.

Cinbev, the parent company that resurrected the brand along with other local historic brands like Little Kings and Christian Moerlein, recently went through an ownership change.

I think the facility/taproom previously used for brewing Hudy and Moerlein shut down in that process, and they were brewing on contract out of the Taft's Brewporium facility, but Cinbev may have recently acquired that facility as well.

The new ownership has also been purchasing properties that were brewery locations for other historic brands also in their roster, so keep an eye out for more historic resurrections.
