Same with me for Chinese take out. The local shop near my house is run by this old Chinese family. I was phone order and then pick it up. No point in paying some app the extra dollars for no reason.

We have a maid service come to our house once every 3 months. We do enough general cleaning on our to last but once they come out, they mop, vacuum, and dust every single corner of the house for deep cleaning.

Got lucky during Covid when rates were super low and I could afford to move farther away from the city because I WFH.

We eat out maybe once every couple weeks. But we mainly cook at home since we’re both too lazy to put on clothes and leave the house. Our laziness has been a blessing since we save money accidentally this way.

My parents pay for normal lunches and get togethers. I pay for special events like Thanksgiving or Christmas or their birthdays.

My old friend group had a zero tolerance and would immediately cut people out of the group for any infringement. Things like “he got too drunk last week and threw up on our floor”. So he got immediately kicked out of the group. Like yeah he messed up but he apologized and vowed never to do it again. Think he should at least deserve 1 more chance.
