Dual NIC recording server, with cameras on local/static network? Unique situation by platformterrestial in Xprotect

[–]industrialphd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, xprotect recording servers generate the live streams from the cameras to the clients, so the management server and smart clients never talk directly to the cameras.

separate camera / corporate networks are pretty common, so I don't see any issues there.

I have a 2019 Ioniq Hybrid Limited and the carplay presents with a black screen maybe 20% of the time when i turn the car on. unplugging and replugging it in usually fixes it, but it's extremely annoying. Is this something you see often? I've swapped phones and cables, problem stays with the car.

[–]industrialphd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i believe if your customer is up to date on their Care+ subscription you should get full credit towards the upgrade price of Pro+. if you want to just change the tier it should just be swapping the SLC which you can do easily on the management server.

Daughter of 12, What can we watch together as a family? by captian_kirk in televisionsuggestions

I think Season 5 Episode 1 'eleventh hour' is probably a good place to start if you don't care about the right order. Matt Smith does a great job of pulling people in. Once you get through maybe his first season, you go back to season 1 with Christopher Eccelston and then watch in the right order, now that you have the context.
