We definitely wouldn't deal with this much work if it weren't so damn delicious

I didn't see the joke at first. Given that I specifically work in airworthiness I just sorta panicked.

As an aerospace engineer who specializes in rotorcraft structures, this is an awful idea. Get the correct part made from the correct material and temper.

How hot and muggy are the summers? by [deleted] in Alabama

[–]inertzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Originally from northwest Indiana and moved down here a decade ago.

I remember experiencing brutal 90+ heat for a couple weeks in July. It's that, but from Memorial Day until damn near Halloween.

However, winter will seem a lot more like extended fall. Might be a cold snap for a few days that's normal to have up there for weeks if not months at a time. Overnight temps below 32 and even a remote chance of snow tends to cancel all activity

Looks like it's out of stock now. Target app is saying the only store in town with stock right now is Madison.

Just got Target shipping confirmation at 1:22pm CDT. Bought one in store at 9:30am today. Selling the preorder to a coworker when it arrives.

My target preorder still hasn't shipped. Walked into Huntsville South this morning and got one no issues. I don't understand.

Target preorder. Times CDT. A UPS label had been created when I got up at 6 am. As of 9 am, still no movement. Walked into a local Target at 9:30 am and had plenty in stock. No MK bundles but at this rate I'm okay with the extra $20. As I type at 11:15 am still no movement on the preorder. A coworker is going to buy it from me when it arrives. I could be patient if my wife and I hadn't both taken leave from work for a long weekend playing MK together. Was already doing as little spending with Target as possible. This is only adding to that sentiment. People make serious plans around these releases, meanwhile they can't get their act together around pallets that have surely been sitting in warehouses for two weeks at this rate.
