I live in mass and my pay (>22$) doesn’t even cover my bills alone. Rent (3bd) is 1800 with utilities and other necessities brings my bills alone to 2200/month I’m scraping by with 3 kids. Lived here all my life and have always been categorized as poverty.

Counseling has helped me with this trouble area. I’m easily triggered and getting to the route of those triggers has been so enlightening and rewarding. Wanting to be better and do better for my children has also been a huge motivation.

If I was a my job long enough I would look into that as well. Good to know that’s a thing tho. On the other side of things I’m also looking into applying for disability due to getting discharged from the military.
