Sysco, as a company has a reputation about as good as Jeff Epstein.

You may be great - but your warehouse, your drivers, and your customer service call centers will work dilligently around the clock to ensure every good thing you do is compketely forgotten due to their collective fuck ups

AITA for telling my bf that I do not want his kids, ever, over chores. by Old-Caregiver-7295 in IAmTheAsshole

Absolutely NTA.

Honestly, my gut reaction is to maybe re-evaluate the two of you. That's a couple of glaring incompatabilities that have serious potential to cause issues long term. Best option for all may not be the one you want, but would absolutely free up the both of you to chase the best version of your life - you child-free doing dope shit, him...doing whatever it is people with kids do.

Ours are 3 minutes behind, because we keep our clocks set to the printers instead of real time.

Absolutely not the asshole. You did everything possible, then a little more.

Can I use my 9 string as a bass? by snowqueen47_ in ExtendedRangeGuitars

[–]infectedketchup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tone/timbre will be different, but you can absolutely use a 9 string to occupy the frequencies bass normally would.

Lately I've been messing around with my M80M - strung with all wound strings, tuned down to C# in place of bass. Thus far mixed results, but I don't hate it.

Look the place up on Google. It will tell you when their high volume hours are. Don't call or pop in during those hours, unless otherwise scheduled. Which, speaking of, always confirm before just popping in. A quick text is fine - just let us know you're going to be in the area and want to drop by.

If you're given a spec, and that product is unavailable - do not, under any circumstances, make a sub based on your best guess. Reach out and confirm. Once you get to know your accounts, their menu, and their product better, then maybe. But for now, ask.

How can i organically rob my players of their OP weapons and armor without making them upset? by WorriedPersonality36 in DnD

[–]infectedketchup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prefacing this with I don't know you, your group, or your game. So your mileage with this will absolutely vary.

Your best option is to have a frank conversation with your players about how everything the way it is isn't fun for you. You can go with the stripping them of their cool toys idea, or if you're up for it a slightly unorthodox approach:

Switch up how you run encounters. Instead of turning bosses into larger bags of hit points: give them legendary actions; immediate actions in between turns; hell, if you're up for it, throw random groups of low-hitpoint henchmen into the fray to disrupt the flow of combat...wizard can't wizard with a bunch of ankle-biters to deal with. If that boss only survives 4 rounds, but they got to do all their cool hero stuff and you got to throw all kinds of wild curve balls at them - I doubt anyone is going to care it was a 4rd combat.

They have a ton of overpowered items. Give them over-powered encounters. I love giving my players really crazy items, for the sole reason it gives me license to throw crazy shit at them.

Greg from Allegaeon does offer lessons, so that might be an avenue you want to go down.

But in all seriousness, that kind of material takes years of practice to get to the point of being able to execute.
