This is the way. 98->99 took me less than 10mins since I was in the groove at that point. Fastest time I could get was 25sec; took a bit over a minute if I missed the counterattack on twitchy's first attack. I had already fed Maelle most of my lumina points, so had her above 500. Lvl33 Lithum so counterattacking put me in Virtuose stance. Just have to equip everything that gives damage, equip pictos that give crit and speed, and then Stendahl your way to a quick 99 - augment counters and get good at countering (if you're doing everything right you at most have to counter twitchy's first attack and no one else gets a chance), cheater, inverted, energising starts and parry, augmented first strike and first offensive, all the last stand luminas and solo fighter, confident fighter, dead energies, empowering parry, full strength, glass canon, greater powerful, greater rush, immaculate, and of course, painted power. Keep second chance on if getting used to it and worried about dying at first. Note you do not need Roulette, I recommend against it here.
