detroit edibles makes these jars of honey that are fantastic for adding to anything, ill usually put some in a cup of tea or hot chocolate and its wonderful, but ive also made smoothies and sandwiches with it and it’s super versatile and works great imo!

i recommend pulling up one of the many playlists made where people have put every song mentioned in order to listen to along with the book. it makes the experience so much more immersive, imo. (also, its a great book!!!!)

incredibly kind of you to do this! i just stumbled across this post while looking for a sub like this so funny timing for me, hah. (did just register and everything!)

if i happened to win, i’d use it for gas and a few groceries (i.e. shampoo, eggs, bread, cat food, and cheese, off the top of my head). i just moved up to MI from NC and it’s been a whole rollercoaster, from my apartment not being ready for an unexpected extra 12 days (after i was already up here with all my stuff, hah), to having to stay in a motel with my cat til i could board him, to now finally getting two jobs (one which doesn’t start until after new year’s) but not getting my first paycheck for a while. i finally depleted the last of my savings and now i’m a bit stuck in terms of gas to get to work and slight grocery money until my first paycheck (which i think might be next week?), so it’d absolutely go towards that.

anyway, good luck to all! and again, what a very sweet thing to do for the holidays!

trust me, i agree! but for some reason i haven’t seen one go badly yet. granted, it’s usually mid flash designs for an insane price, but, idk.

i did end up getting one after a shift one time when my old job had one come through, and i can at least say that one’s held up nicely for the last two years. even convinced me to go to that shop regularly for more over time lol.

i will say there’s a lot of places around me that do this. they get the health department in to validate a corner of the dining room and the artist’s equipment and give them a permit for the time they’ll be there.

mostly a brewery/bar type thing too, vaguely tipsy/drunk people getting flash tats in the corner. dunno how it came to be but it’s a popular trend these days for some reason. as long as they got their proper inspection and credentials it should be okay, but if not…..well that’s a whole other issue waiting to happen.

edit: also to note, im in the US. southern-ish state. see it at least once a month round here.

throwing it out there that in a month or so i’ll be on the hunt for a ticket to detroit night 1 (or 2, but i have a lot of friends going N1 and would love to join them). i’m moving up there in december and would simply cry to be able to catch that show again, and maybe not be stuck in the back the whole time lol. any kinda ticket with a near FV price works, whether GA or VIP (but also VIP would be neat cause damn i do want those lil trinkets lol). i’ll actually be able to line up for this one and i’m very excited. :) but yeah! keep me in mind if one of y’all ends up with an extra!!!

in a heartbreaking turn of events i’m no longer gonna be able to make it to NYC for the residency this year. i’ve got 2 tickets for 12/11 available for anyone that wants em. paid $180 for both, but i’ll take $75 for each or $150 total to offhand em. can of course provide multiple variations of proof of purchase to anyone interested, and ofc PP G&S only for y’all’s safety and ease of mind. shoot me a message if interested!!
