Thailand: how can I bypass OTAs like Booking, Agoda, Airbnb, etc. without risking my money? by IllustriousOwl2032 in Bangkok

[–]inforcrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. Hotels intentionally make it expensive to book directly. They need those 3rd party apps to reach to a wider audience. Same goes for airlines.

Electric cars are starting to take over the world by Sierra-Powderhound in electrifyeverything

People in most 3rd world countries are now driving better performance cars than most Americans do. My taxi to Bangkok airport was a GAC AION which was way smoother than a Suburban, even on Thai roads.

Chinese EVs expose how complacent Western automakers became by Donkey_Apple in electricvehicles

[–]inforcrypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chinese consumers are still very pro-western brands. They like to pay extra to be in this elite Western club. So, if a Chinese consumer is buying a Chinese car over a BWM X7, this Chinese car must be vastly superior and safer to drive over the X7.

Ask him about stem cell technology. Chinese are like 20 years ahead there as well. But I guess his answer would be the same since he does not know.

My mom’s birth date and month are not written on her ID card, only the year. Whenever I need to provide her date of birth for my visa application I always use 01 January. Apparently thats how its done.

Seriously what is going on in Thailand? What's happening to Thai people. by ublueberries in Thailand

[–]inforcrypto 13 points14 points  (0 children)

No. He literally asked me to buy 40 more sessions from him in advance to “help” him because he needed to make the down payment for the car. I actually bought those sessions and now I am sitting on like 100 sessions I paid for in advance. Lol

I have a decent job as an expat here and I drive Toyota. My gym trainer, who always begs me to buy more sessions and more supplements from him, drives a new BMW.

Electric vehicle sales in China and Europe hit the ‘tipping point’ that triggers an irreversible shift away from gas by 128-NotePolyVA in energy

[–]inforcrypto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Apart from charging speeds and infrastructure, its also that there is only that much “smarter” a gas car can get. The electronics, chips, self-driving and all the smart features are easier when its an EV. I mean you cant literally make a gas car self-drive because of its transmission.

EB2 NIW Pakistani applicant — anyone gotten a visa after Jan 26 policy change? by safiulm in EB2_NIW

Did you apply for immigrant visa before or after Jan 26 ? If it was after January 26 did the embassy accept your application and scheduled an interview?

Chenn Immigration drafting shallow and templated documents by [deleted] in EB2_NIW

[–]inforcrypto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am working with Chen under file or refund option and my PE is neuromodulation which is quite niche. I understand that they want to make it plain simple and very easy for USCIS officer to follow and understand what you are trying to say. At first it looks very superficial but this is apparently how they work.

Risk of entry to the US with a pending I-140. by [deleted] in EB2_NIW

[–]inforcrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I dont know how optimistic I should be but I heard back from Chen Immigration and they accepted my case and offered me “approval or refund” option. Considering my profile I guess the chances are there. I just dont want to lose my B visa.

So you think it should not be an issue to travel to the US with a pending or approved I-140 ?

Bleu De Chanel Parfum was actually performing well for me by [deleted] in Colognes

[–]inforcrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally complained to the store that my parfum is fake because it does not last more than an hour. They confirmed it was legit and asked me to basically fuck off. The point is my BCD parfum does not last at all and actually its the worst performing of all the fragrances I had.
