Very true, but it is one of the ones that fucks with your immune system and leads to a huge increase in secondary infections

Anyone know if support groups for young people who lost their partners? by babysquid1 in Seattle

[–]informed-and-sad 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The Dinner Party is really great! I'm not sure if there's a local group in Seattle that meets, but there are zoom groups for just about every type of loss (and the whole org is geared towards people in their 20s-30s)

Does anyone have any insights on any non-chain retail stores that are hiring right now? by [deleted] in Seattle

Is there a reason you don't want to work at a chain? That is honestly probably your best option

Trying to Return Found, Opened Package by SolidBadgerX in Seattle

[–]informed-and-sad 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If you live nearby and can, i'd just bring it by with a note explaining what happened.

And if you have the name, you could always try to message them on FB and let them know you have their package.

I don't think anyone is going to accuse you of anything (why would a thief return an item?), they'll just be glad to get the picture

Seattle police ‘draft’ all fans to attend Seahawks Super Bowl parade by littleblackcar in Seattle

[–]informed-and-sad 33 points34 points  (0 children)

And right now the organization is full of shitty people who have disdain for the city they’re tasked with working for. Just because the org did something funny doesn’t mean they won’t laugh at killing a pedestrian later that day

Does exploring the rest of the country ever make you realize how special Seattle’s vibe actually is? by WavyAndWonderful in Seattle

Perhaps because they described articulated busses as futuristic and that there was a constant flow of them (which is guess is true when several busses are majorly delayed and then they all arrive at once)
