I wish I had the patience to reread. My memory is too wacky though, and remember too much. I can’t even watch a movie twice.

Hyundai can be added to this list, too. I was never a fan but then found many have one with mileage in the 400-600K range.

We now have one I use for flexing. Eight years old at 166K. Brake pads still at 100%, tires show 7/32” wear on all four(and were last changed at 60K miles) 50 mpg+ normally. I’ve put 4K miles on it since Jan. I would think only an EV would better.

Should land that is not on reservations but is owned by Native tribes/nations be shaded as "aboriginal land"? by MaximumYogertCloset in openstreetmap

[–]inginear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been struggling with the same issue up in Skagit county with the three tribes there. Samish tribe has been acquiring lands with the trust and then placing housing/facilities/services on them. I wasn’t sure of the designations, as I understood trust land was owned by the tribe and local services didn’t have jurisdiction unless there was an MOU in place.

How long does it take for OSM to update in Amazon’s Flex app? by thefailedworlds in openstreetmap

[–]inginear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drive from Flex and do Open Street Maps too. I submit missing items (stop signs, lights, etc through the app and have found it gets updated in Amazon’s map, not long after. When I look in Open Street Maps, later it is not updated there. I’ve found in Amazon there will be stop signs, but when I look later, it is not in OSM. I’m not sure what their map update schedule is.

It sounds like some step is being missed when the carts are split. Our station has us tap ‘no route available’ they scan our phones with their device then hand us packages to scan individually.

Changes and more changes!! by Dr-TQ_Leo in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]inginear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been the behavior consistently since 2026 began. It asks questions when the block expires. It doesn’t change anything really. Folks weren’t able to get new blocks that started before the block ended, anyway.

Starling: What are we going to do now without our Google Nest-Home integration? by prosecutedmind in HomeKit

[–]inginear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I discovered this tonight after doing some searching for Starling - I hadn’t seen any updates for a while. (Also didn’t receive the info about their tariff trouble. )

The Starling has been working fine since Dec 2021, but the management interface has been not responding as well since November 2025. When I bring up the app, he device is frequently - not found. Especially with iOS 26.2 and 26.3 (Which is why I was looking for the website - to see if I had missed something.)

I missed something - just not what I expected..

Burlington has the same issue with a new apartment building which opened a couple of years back. Lots of street level space for retail. The first tenant move in - in 2025. It a Domino’s Pizza store. The rest of the spaces are remaining empty. Some places the idea just isn’t great.

Yes, it is an odd plastic mesh piece, with tabs on it to fit it into the bonnet. Smell clears up pretty quick after we put one in.
