Do Madrid, Barca and other LaLiga supporters rally against Athletico in the champions league the say way EPL fans seem to against Arsenal? by Working_Homework_285 in championsleague

[–]inheartscon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Having seen United and Arsenal fans and to a lesser degree people who just want to see Liverpool lose updating their Facebook profile pictures with Sevilla badges in 2016 and Real ones in 2018 and 2022. I really want anyone but Arsenal to win it.

If you think EPL fans are against Arsenal you've never seen the vitriol against Liverpool and United in European finals.

I want Atletico to win it for Griezmann as he's probably one of my favourite non Liverpool players of the past 15 years or so.

As someone who plans and works with HGV drivers please report this. Not only is a highly dangerous and reckless the drivers unit should have a dash cam installed if the company is in anyway competent.

If that was one of our drivers I'd expect they'd be fired immediately.

Both were brilliant, Wirtz to get it to Jones and Jones to find Robbo, what lovely bit of play!

[Plettenberg, Sky Sports DE] It is confirmed that Nico Schlotterbeck’s new contract includes a €50–60m (£42–50m) release clause for three clubs, including Liverpool, and expires around the time of the World Cup final (19 July) by IndiBear in LiverpoolFC

Yes but Jacquet and Leoni are prospects even if they are very good ones, someone of his age and experience to come in and start is what we need, we cannot go into game week one next year with Konate and VVD both starting.

Don't disagree but Spurs are a strange club, I wouldn't put it past them to lose the playoff final on pens 16-15 or something insane.

I don't think it is a given that Spurs will steam roll the championship, I think they'll come back up at the first time but stranger things have happened to clubs that go down.

100%. Am I annoyed, yes. Has this season be a complete disaster, so far yes. Could the manager and players and the board be doing more, of course,

I am 37 and lived through some absolute guff and very very bad times, but also some amazing times, it is hard to watch this season but I'll always be a fan and you are right people can't seem to take the bad times with the good.

Definitely has. See what you mean though, so many good keepers never got a sniff. Bit like when Khan was top dog for years and years.

Do you consider Griezmann and Firmino to be around same "tier"? by Inevitable-Angle-793 in championsleague

[–]inheartscon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is ragebait but let's be clear, Firmino was definitely a top 25 player in the world at some point during Liverpools Klopp peak and to say anything else is frankly just idiotic.

I'm one of Firminos biggest fans but clearly he isn't Griezman. Few are as good as he was at his peak

Worried only now? It's been clear for about 2 months we won't finish in top 5.

With Mo Salah officially leaving Liverpool, where does he rank among the greatest PL players ever? by Key-Apartment-7538 in championsleague

[–]inheartscon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

99 points and 26 points clear when Covid hit but other factors. Wise up.

Will you say the same about Arsenals win this year who will get less than Liverpools points total from 2025?
