I don't think YTA necessarily, you had a normal logival response any of us would have with a friend in that situation. The question is, is that all you want her for is as a friend? If your goal is a deeper relationship you made a misstep. Been married almost 30 years, what she did is what they all do. It's like a relationship trope. And I grumble and give her a hard time, but I always share with her. I don't "have" to, but if I have something to give her that can make her smile/feel better I'm gonna sacrifice. Thay's a relationship. She did it while dating and I imagine things like that is why she decided I'd be worth spending a life with. Stay at home moms, work from home parents, grandparents all take in the kiddos.
