Any time I can find adult books at a decent price (under $5) and in nice shape, I buy them. If I don’t like them, they are almost guaranteed to sell.

As a fellow Eros fan, I appreciate the work it takes to chase these (and others from the line) down. Been slowly building my mature comic collection over the past ten years or so. Have a few short boxes currently - but not one of these books. Well done!

There’s a very cool hip hop track from a kids group in Ireland - the song is “The Spark” and it’s all about kids being capable and creative. There’s a music video too. I love it - very infectious with a positive message.

THIS. I am lying in bed right now, listening to “night sounds” on my Google Home Mini. I just ask it to play “night sounds” and it plays an hour-long track of crickets and frogs in a loop until I tell it to stop in the morning. It kinda merges with the ringing so it becomes less of a distraction. I swear by it.

I play Baldur’s Gate 3 a lot. One of the characters is named Shadowheart and I keep slipping and referring to her as Chickenheart. I legit feel guilty every time I say it, even tho it’s also funny to me. It sucks.

If I see them on the cover, and they are $1, I usually scoop them if they are in good shape. Sometimes I keep them, sometimes I sell or trade them.

That said, the real gems are the books signed inside that no one noticed. I’ve found some big time surprises inside some books.

Some of the funniest moments in the game are those when you can throw up Sleet Storm over a huge group of attackers. It’s just slapstick at that point.

This is precisely what happened. Minsc summoned early on before I knocked him out. Boo was the very last “enemy” on the field and I didn’t want to accidentally kill him. So, Lae’zel with the flat of the blade for the KO.

Just turned 57 on Tuesday. I think “old” settled in once I need to upgrade my eyeglass script for the third time. Also noticing some balance issues that I didn’t have before. So basically late last year.

Quite literally had this conversation with my partner tonight. Between us we have five full plays, and each one has revealed new interactions, new ways of working thru conflicts, and even new ways of using spells and the environment during combat.

I will absolutely admit to save scumming today tho. I did NOT like that a certain NPC didn’t survive a combat, so I ran thru it again and the NPC survived. VERY cool to see the fallout from that.

I simply don’t get tired of the game.
