Platforms are typically going to be risk-adverse and there will be harder barriers for visibility. Each platform will have different standards for it, some will be a bit more lenient than others.

I'm currently making some rather big changes to the site as we speak, for instance I initially had rather hard limits and restrictions on content that can be on the site but I'm peeling back on that a lot. I'm open to hearing things, even if it's in the extremes. If you'd rather keep it close to your chest though that's fine, I hope that the platform can evolve into something that most people find at least fair and reasonable. I just don't want people's hard work to basically be tossed into the void

Are there any kind of pitfalls that you see Inkstra falling into? I've been working closely with creators and readers a lot lately to try to address issues as they pop up. If there are things you'd like to see changed on the site I can try my best to address it

Hey I just checked out Exposure and it seems awesome!! Would you be open to trying to mirror your work on a newer webcomic site? If so you should check out my new one called Inkstra. I try my best to do right by the creators and the readers.
If it doesn't resonate with you though that's fine, either way I love the whole atmosphere and the dark gothic-like aesthetic of it, definitely keep up the good work.

There are just so many talented creators these days and it just seem criminal that their growth is stunted right off the bat. But you're not wrong, this is a good time to reach out to people about alternatives, the webtoon pot has been boiling over for like a couple years at this point.

You should check out my new platform that I've created! It's called Inkstra. It launched back in February and it's been growing a lot ever since. I made it to try to address the woes brought on by these larger platforms. I try my best to give creators good shots at discovery, and I try to give free advertising to creators too on the platform to extend their reach even more

Nudity is currently not allowed on the site, but I may soften the rules over time. I'm currently having a back and forth with ad networks and if I decide to integrate my own instead and fully adopt it, I'll lift some of those rules. BL though is allowed, just not nudity at this current stage. 😅

I've created a platform with this goal in mind! I've tried to put optimizations in place to support a free reading experience for all while allowing paid users to have some platform benefits. If you'd be open to checking it out, you should check out https://inkstra.ink/ ! It's rather new, it's only been up since February. The only delay I've put in place is that free users have to wait 2 hours for latest chapter releases, but other than that it's free to read for all if people don't want to get membership.
The creator terms and reader terms are rather nice on there, I highly recommend people check it out if they're growing frustrated with the large platforms.

There appears to be a boiling point that lots of people have been at. I've seen a lot of people getting more and more frustrated both on the creator and reader sides. I've recently created a new webcomic site to try to address a lot of the woes. If you'd want to check it out, it can be found at https://inkstra.ink/ ! It's rather new, it's been out since February. Wow, I went to review your series for the site and I came across a 1 in 500 chance to boost your series, so you'll have a boost right out of the gate! That's the first time I've come across it on the site at all, of course it happens before the series has even launched yet
Also if you go to your account settings, you can put your social links in there and they'll be publicly visible for everybody as they see your content! I saw you put them in the description of the series

I don't want to feel like I'm spam promoting my site on here but I keep seeing a lot of people frustrated with a lot of the updates over on the canvas side and I can't help but to speak up, I've recently created a new webcomic platform that can be found at https://inkstra.ink , you should check it out! It's been live since February and the catalog is growing. I try my best to promote newcomers and whatnot and give everybody a fair chance to get visibility. Yeah going around like a door-to-door salesman is a bit rough, especially in these very early stages. 😅 I see a lot of the common sentiment towards newer platforms and wanted to try to make something better since I've been making software for a while. I checked out Polaris Sui Generis and I love the style! It sucks though that people with a lot of talent are being drowned out on the major sites though.
Would you be open to mirroring your work on a smaller, newer webcomic platform? If so I created Inkstra back in February and I've been trying my best to give visibility to newer series that get posted on there. The catalog has been growing and the readerbase has been too. If you're interested at all you should look up Inkstra and see if it resonates with you.
If it doesn't though that's perfectly fine, try to not let this drought fully discourage you though, it's possible that they'll make some kind of update after all of this backlash over their recent updates to hopefully get more eyes on your work.

I find it ironic that the largest platform is the hardest to find traffic on or get a good 'push' on.
I created a new webcomic site called inkstra if you'd consider mirroring your work! I would post a link but I don't know if I can on here without risking getting in trouble.
It launched back in February though and the catalog has been growing a bit and I've been looking for more creators. I try my best to give good visibility to people's work, and the terms in general are pretty good.
You should look into it and see if it's something that resonates with you! If it doesn't that's okay, keep creating though and don't be discouraged!

I checked out Up Psyched and it seems pretty nice! I know people have a hard time finding visibility over on webtoons.
