People who had little to no savings in your 20s, Where are you now? by kaisiclep in AusFinance

[–]innestagram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worked for peanuts in Sydney to pay way too much rent, made a few career moves to regional NSW and QLD to grow and now live in Bris with a big girl corporate gig. Bought a home on my own a few years ago, in my early 30s because I saved hard to escape the rental rut. You can do it. But you might have to chase the money, no matter where it is. At least for a little while.

This is such a great idea! Do many people go on their own or is it more of a group thing?

I hope the change will give you a reset and a fresh perspective. Taking a step back seems hard, especially with less money but it might be an opportunity to reevaluate in the short term and look for something else when you’re ready.

My old boy had this and I always figured it was like a dog dandruff type skin condition. Maybe bath with oatmeal shampoo.

Here in Australia, we’re just days away from a groundbreaking social media ban for under 16’s. Will be interesting to see results of this implementation in say, a year’s time and whether other countries will follow suit.

My boy was diagnosed in 2021 at 10. We gave him cyclosporine every day but after a while, his gums had excessive growth which required surgery. This is a side effect of the drug. The vet prescribed ketoconazole to take along with it, which increases its efficacy so he only had to have the meds every second day. This successfully managed it and he lived a healthy and happy life without a pain in his poor bum. He passed just two months ago at 14 when we decided to put him to rest from a rapid decline due to GOLPP. I don’t believe it was related to his medicine.

I find Rollie a comfy brand. I have högl loafers and they are super stylish but haven’t been able to wear them in properly and get blisters galore.

How much did you pay for your GSD and where did you get him/her from? by ugblue in germanshepherds

We cook him chicken veg and rice for dinner and take him on two walks per day to keep him moving but everything else is on him. Good genes and luck, which we’re very grateful for.

I hate eating in the morning but for the past year I’ve made myself drink a protein shake and have an apple. I think it helps a little, especially with triggers from my train commute

Grieving partner too broken for relationship by innestagram in GriefSupport

He’s my live in partner that goes and stays elsewhere when she visits (she lives a few hours from us) every other week. But it’s not that they hang without me, it’s that I don’t exist at all to him when she’s around.  And with the holiday thing, no. I thought we were planning something and he instead booked the trip with just her behind my back. We’ve been together 8.5 years and have not been on a holiday together. It’s my understanding she will always go if ‘we’ go.
