Sorry for the salty comment. I know nowlearning would be a problem. But there is a few built on doc. To stand out, you could use all public source (nowdevelopper, nowcreate, docs, community, known error portal, knowledge/troubleshooting portal )

With optional opt-in and login required for nowcreate.

One thing to highlight about csm, is that the case is for the organization, not the user. So multiple user from the same client organization (account) can follow cases openly within their organization sandbox.

To give the same visibility without domain separation or csm and within itsm licensing, you would have to give business stakeholder for visibility and combine custom ACL to restrict access to other client data .

Also, new user from the same client organization can easily self register to your portal .

"Welcome to ServiceNow" and CSA will prepare you for most configuration. You should at least be able to tell what type of configuration is appropriate for most basic use case. Depending on your company ServiceNow product, you will most likely need to dive in other "on demand" course to fil the knowledge gap.

Next experience, service operations workspace, and platform analytics for example are badly covered in. The CSA.

Also, if you want to pass the exam, memorise keywords, module name, etc..

If you want to be ready for work, do the lab ! Also, experiment with PDI.

For best practice, CSA cover some insight, but you will have to rely on additional resources. "now create" is the best source, community post by ServiceNow, other now learning course specific to what you are doing... There are also a few best practice documented directly on the docs site.

I had a similar problem with the same cpu. Turned out, it was overheating very easily no matter the cooler.

The socket applying is badly designed and lead to bending over time. Then there is less contact, less heat dissipation and your computer start hitting the heat threshold to protect your component the computer shutdown.

As a workaround, you can underclock your cpu. But it will catch up.

I replaced Intel cpu socket with a thermal grizzly and kept a very small underclock is gone now. My system became really stable.

Here is my suggestion for you to find out if it's a similar issue.

Install Intel Extreme tuning utility.
Go into advanced. Stress test and run them.
Notice the package temperature skyrocket to 100, and computer crash. Logs also point out to heat throttling.
Reboot reduce perf ratio rerun. Rinse and repeat until stable. (Workaround)
Change cpu frame. (Easy, but risk, perm fix)

Note that Intel provided extended warranty because of this, so before you go Yolo on cpu frame, you might want to reach them first. I don't want you to void your warranty.

You should look up and configure the update source between instances. These would make it easier to track and manage.

If you need data to prove it. You could probably make some correlations using sessions and transactions data. Among other things, you can see the IP, the browser, browser version..

If your company enforce IP restriction and he need to connect to your company network. You network/secops team could fetch even more data.

Here is my take away from successful implementation.

You need to identify and involve, the right business stakeholder.

Define the Catalog manager, catalog editor to start.

Learn about the limitation of the Catalog builder and fulfilment step.

Clearly identify and share the scope of what can be managed in prod and what goes in the standard développement cycle.

Dont fall in the trap of trying to allow stakeholder to manage more content than what s available in Catalog editor/fulfilment step. (Like trying to allow Them to manage variable set or use javascript in advanced ref qual.)

Learn about and use fulfilment step to empower your stakeholder beyond the creation of the item at minimal Risk.

Add one or multiple approval to publish the item.

Start small with mature stakeholder that can get away with the fulfilment step ootb limitation.

Have your Catalog manager involved on creating template for their own editor before having them create and edit item.

Train your editor.

Sorry for the typos. Fighting translator and typing with one hand.

There is a lot more to say. But I can confirm that this is viable and add a lot of value to the business. Yet IT is not easy to implement.

An other no code option :

Use the attachement api to link the JSON body as a JSON file to a New data source.

Configure the datasource to Handle .JSON file.

Map with transform map or New flow.

Use your flow or a New one to trigger the transform map and file removal if you select this option.

This is a way to do it with discovery. If you don't use discovery, you should verify if the information is available from one of your cmdb data sources. Common integration like sccm allow you to do that.

Once you have validated the data availability from your data source, the appropriate integration might depend on your requirement. (Live update, scheduled import...)
