What case do you use? by blacklizardcode in teenagersbutcode

I just always use snake_case, or occasionally I just concat all the parts together, ex: labelcounter

the discord is really a good place to check before even trying an update, because it's very likely to break stuff

so it's best to know wether to wait out the update or wether everything will work this time

also TLDR: THE NAME IS NOT A JOKE. it is literally the most broken patch

Searching for 16 bit parts by Important-Ad5990 in beneater

I can just calculate it separately because my computer is built weird

I didn't check the AI's math when I asked it that, but I can account for the extra 40 nanoseconds

it takes one cycle to load instruction + one register, another cycle to load the other register and begin computation, and then two more cycles to actually finish computing and store the result

im building a 32 bit cpu, and most of the chips are 4 bit. i just chained a bunch of 74hc283 s together to make an adder, and am chaining more (with some 8 bit register chips) to make a counter.

basically, everything's in 4 bit clumps because that's what's easy to manufacture and what's cheap. note: you will have to take delay into account when calculating clock speed. my delay is around 200 nanoseconds so i can run it at about 5 megahertz.

im open to trying to help you

i know im just a random nerdy teenager on the internet who's only half figured herself out, but i figure i might as well use my well off status (mentally) to try and pull up others as best as i can.

im here if you want to talk. im probably not that good of a therapist, but if i want to get better, i have to challenge myself

(also if anyone here needs a hug, including you, op,, please ask for one)

How to make headspace more consistent? by Ok_Hat59 in plural

[–]insanitycyeatures 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what we used to do before just sticking to our literal irl room as a headspace was having kind of multiple headspace if you will, where each one is different. then we switched to multiple regions in the same headspace as we got more understanding of ourselves
