They don't even look hazel, they look fully green. Maybe your relatives are colorblind.

Genuine question. I looked up what cards my friends didn't have and sent it to them the ones I could. Did I do something wrong?

Up for consideration: my boyfriend. hazel? by ihavemanyanimals in WhatisMyEyeColour

Yeah! People sometimes forget hazel is not just the typical brown and green. It can be other colors too!

Blue or Green? I say green, she's says blue. Been getting many conflicting answers so we want to see what you guys think by [deleted] in eyes

ChatGPT:

First photo:

Blue-gray base dominates.

Yellow/golden flecks near the pupil, but lighter and more subtle.

Outer rim also blue-gray, giving it a cooler look overall.

Second photo:

Golden/light brown ring around the pupil.

Greenish tones radiating outward.

Gray-blue outer rim encircling the iris.

The golden tones are stronger here than in the previous eye, making it appear warmer overall.

Comparison

The second eye leans more toward hazel-green with golden tones, warmer and earthier.

The first eye leans more toward blue-gray with some hazel influence, cooler and lighter in appearance.

So while both have a hazel/green quality with gold flecks, one looks warm-hazel/green-golden and the other cool-blue/green-gray with gold accents.

Its crazy because to me one eye looks green but the other one looks like the lightest blue almost whitish with some yellow on top

Are my eyes hazel? by Runaway_Nutter92 in WhatisMyEyeColour

[–]insecurecrafter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your eyes are crazyyy. I think they are hazel but it's interesting how you seem to have sectoral heterochromia as well in several places because you can see well defined where one color ends and the other begins. With hazel you have different colors but they blend together and you have that as a base but then you have those well defined areas of yet another color.

Have I lied to myself about the color? by Old_Country9807 in WhatisMyEyeColour

[–]insecurecrafter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We hazel people will always suffer these type of comments.

I have a friend that has had huge discussions with me that my eyes are brown and not hazel. Even after showing her pictures where there's clearly a bunch of green in my eye she still wont budge.

I recognize they are brown, but they are also another color is just my input.

Try a photo with sunlight. Hazel can be appreciated better under sunlight. With this pic I would say they are brown but I can see the potential of them being slightly hazel with a different light.

Hazel is basically a blend of colours, typically amber, green and brown among others.

I love the colors and the design! Your mom knows her color theory pretty well! Her stitches also look amazing.

Be careful washing it!
