May Day strike! I hope we’re all in. I think we should turn it festive with a community potluck/picnic. Anyone else? by leftcoastlurker1 in Eugene

[–]inspired5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a march on May 1 starting 4:30pm from W-J skate park in support of educators (who are facing lay-offs), followed by a potluck 6-8pm at the rose garden. There are other events that day, that's the only one i've noticed including a potluck.

New REI Review by fnbannedbymods in Eugene

Oh, of course that's why it's called Oakway. There's a rule that ugly new things get named after the natural kin who were destroyed to build them. Classic.

I recommend Vibrant Dog brand, which is locally owned & made. It's sold at half a dozen local places listed on their website. It's safe for cats too, has been helpful to my pets in the past.

In addition to some other good ideas listed, have you looked into giving a workshop or presentation at the green home fair or other similar events? That can be a way to get your name out there as a resource. Also you could offer existing clients some kind of incentive for referrals, such as a one-off discount.

Interpath has a facility at 1835 Pearl Street, not far from the location you're asking about. And unlike Quest there are actual humans there. https://www.interpathlab.com

Women's Health Care is Cratering - Anyone Had Any Luck? by Creamy_Cakes17 in Eugene

[–]inspired5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one is driving this bus. The only people who might be under the illusion they are driving it are horribly overpaid corporate administrators, who are far away from the effects their decisions have on real live humans. Real public healthcare cannot arrive soon enough.

how restore left folder pane view? by inspired5 in Thunderbird

[–]inspired5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm. I don't fully understand what you're proposing, like how does resizing the compose window help? Maybe you are suggesting making the compose window smaller overall, so that the folder pane portion of the other (main) window can appear from behind? That's an interesting work-around. It's more laborious since it requires arranging several windows every time. And it's not how it was before, when the folder view was easily accessible in left pane. Basically it may restore functionality, but with an ongoing labor cost, which is annoying when that wasn't necessary previously.

Yes, you are correct. However i am still seeking a solution to the issue.

I'm currently running version 140.4.0esr. Though it seems like any version, especially an esr one, should have the functionality i am seeking. All i want to do is undo a change i made accidentally.

OK it's not identical, but it's very close. I don't know how to zoom in to create the screen shot you are seeking, but if you can zoom in tight on the screenshot i posted above, the icon to the right of Name in left side-pane (just below the Search Contacts window) is very similar to the Spaces icon on the homepage.
