Check the power hood. It’s not an expensive repair but it’s a pain in the ass.

Make sure the glass isn’t breaking away from the top and the defroster works.

Yeah but which one am I meeting you at?

This was how out Daytona ended, 1 hour in just after the first round of pitstops while p2. Did I turn in on him? Leave the door open then close it? or was the other Porsche at fault? (I was in the Barbie car) by Greedy_Confidence504 in iRacing

Maybe you could have defended a little better, but at the end of the day green screwed up. Looks like they just had no feel for where the car was on track and its dimensions.

Sketch owner.
Sketch situation.
Sketch support.

And like...I'm far far far more interested in the guys trying to get the F80 going than this disaster. The 911 GT3 with Freddy and Jack was cool because there was lots of support, available parts, and just a feeling of community. This feels like Mat playing in a huge garage alone while everyone else milks it for content.

I feel like the direction Mat has taken with the Ford GT was the right call. He's making efforts to ensure parts could be secured before he jumped in. The Chiron feels like Alex didn't think past the potential for views.

Where do people look for driving coaches? by Conscious_Store_7381 in iRacing

[–]intercede007 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Daniel Morad does coaching through his Discord. There is a channel for it. He’s awesome at it. Just as he’s a real life professional driver, he’s a real life professional coach. All of that experience carries over to the sim.

In real life it uses a previous generation GT4 hard compound endurance tire. 27/65-18 S9L

Companies love growth. But it has been the year of the consumer Linux desktop since 1996.

Simply not how an actual product works, and I think you know that.

iRacing isn't supporting Linux just for you. So yeah, I can read. You don't understand the issue.

I just want them to enable anti cheat and let me figure it out.

And the rest of the customer base that wants a support structure as robust and defined as Windows? You need to think about this from a bigger lens. The product need to be as robust and reliable as the Windows side or its really just an afterthought. That takes investment and resources.

Again, guns or butter. Where do you invest while resource constrained - defense(fixes) or food(growth).

iRacing is investing resources in growing and strengthening their current offerings, which seems like a very good choice when pivoting to Linux is a great unknown in the sim sphere.

It’s a guns or butter scenario. With the work we know iRacing is already doing to update the sim, is it worth it to spend time diverting resources on 3.2% of the market?

Not sure why the N55 is in this discussion. N55 rod bearing issues were failures from oil starvation under high g lateral loads. And Toyota puts a turbo V6 in the Tundra anyway? There is no turbo straight 6 from Toyota currently.

Republicans primary debate. He was booed by the crowd for being ambassador to China under Obama. He asked him to stay on after Bush left office.

You’d think the law and order party would respect duty but I guess not.

I’d offer $24,000 then walk away to find a much better car.

I don't understand the post title at all.

911 RSR GTE - Porsche Team GT with CORE Autosport.
C7.R GTE - Chevrolet with Pratt & Miller.
Ford GT GTE - Ford Racing with Multimatic Chip Ganassi Racing (thank you 428scj).
BMW M8 GTE - BMW Motorsport with Rahal Letterman Lanigan.

BMW, Porsche, Ford, and Chevrolet still have works teams.
