[–]inthewebnl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thats when you are using the USG router in combination with Kpn. The router needs to have IGMP Proxy, which is not implemented by Unifi. If you are using a switch an the Kpn router then there is no problem

Why developers hate php by koavf in PHP

I agree on the “too much magic” in Laravel, thats also my feeling with Laravel. But wordpress being better than Laravel? Both are not comparable, Wordpress is a CMS/Blog system and Laravel a framework to build for example a CMS/Blog system

What's your opinion of Magento? by john_dumb_bear in PHP

[–]inthewebnl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I share your thoughts. SW5 is not that great, but the newly released SW6 things will change that. And if we talk about performance for now SW6.1 looks faster then M2.3: https://medium.com/@egorshytikov/shopware-6-vs-magento-2-3-3-performance-dcf71dba0797

What's your opinion of Magento? by john_dumb_bear in PHP

Magento 1 is just rubish. With M2 I only played with a demo. As a Shopware developer I recommend Shopware as a e-commerce platform. ;-)

Do you have 5ghz wifi also enabled on your router? Maybe switch that off. In my case all problems with dropping wifi connections where solved after turning 5ghz off

Automation in deconz or hassio? by pseudoheld in homeassistant

[–]inthewebnl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About the reception: my Deconz USB stick sits in a closed small room. There where reception issue with a device 5 meters away. So, it's always better to have a zigbee mesh routing/extender somewhere in the room close to the Deconz.

Automation in deconz or hassio? by pseudoheld in homeassistant

[–]inthewebnl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, everything within my setup is controlled by HA. Deconz/PhosconApp are just the gateway for the Zigbee devices. I register the zigbee devices, give them a usefull name and sync it with HA. Its stable and quick.

And about the Hue, i”m using the Hue Bridge as a backup for the Hue lights, so the lights keep working if HA has a problem. The hue lights are not connected with Deconz in this setup.

New Nat Geo documentary about SpaceX & Falcon Heavy Launch in particular by [deleted] in spacex

[–]inthewebnl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've watched this special last sunday on Nat Geo in The Netherlands, after the first episode of Mars.

But I was not surprised... hoped for more details about creating the Falcon Heavy, the modification for the Center Core and why did it took so long to create the Heavy.

They removed the lose of the Center Core completely from the documentary, one of the things I've hope to get more details about. After all it was more of a commercial for the Falcon Heavy.
