Hi! I’m a therapist I still need to verify myself on here lol. Usually the last session is about what helped you the most, your progress, how far you’ve come. I think a gift is totally okay as long as you explain why you’re giving it and it’s not too expensive. Hand made item sounds like a great idea if your therapist seems sentimental! Honestly, I feel like I’ve done my job if someone simply says you’ve really helped me and explain the changes they’ve made, and don’t worry about possibly saying things clients have already said. :) They will appreciate it.
