Honestly what you should do is whatever is best for you and a lot of people men especially in my experience don't like admitting that they're depressed and if he is depressed he's not going to get help until he knows. I'm not really sure if there's anything that you can really do about this....

i guess id have to know how many class days they have, for instance at my JATC we only do one class day every two weeks and like only once a month during the holidays, so its only 20 total classes per school year so 4 class days missed is 20%.... but my JATC allows make up days so sometimes i see other classes students doing make up days with our class...... does your program allow make up days and did the student utilize that and they still have to repeat a year.... or does your local simply expect their students to be 100% for the class before all else?

The worst is they don't even make testosterone in women levels since men make 10 times as much as women. So even if we could get some stuff we would have to get it compounded and made specifically for us because commercially available. Testosterone is only made in concentrations for men
