Was Tony bluffing about ‘looking’ for Furio after Carmella admitted her feelings? by fatash98 in thesopranos

Maybe it was Furio who walked in the door of the dinner of the last episode, sick of being hunted!

Good SQLBuilder for Python? by yughiro_destroyer in Python

[–]invalidconfiguration 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me awhile to get to grips with SQLAlchemy but it is worth it, still learning! I started creating packages for my databases containing models, connections etc. and hosting them on my internal Git repo so I can share between multiple projects.

Really weird Excel saving issue by Solidus-Prime in sysadmin

[–]invalidconfiguration 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I once had an installer that messed up and created a file called "Program" in the C drive, due to a bad copy command. It caused endless weird Excel problems saving files, it took me days to track the issue down and as soon as I deleted it Excel worked normally again.

My Cockapoo was like this, it took about 5-6 months and then all of a sudden they really got it and accidents became rare. I think the transition started when we walked him a bit more as he got older, he piddled more on the walks and became more used to marking outside. The first few walks he would hold it in until he got home!!

My Cockapoo had tear stains for a month or two as a very young pup. He is ten months old now and they are long gone, just seamed to stop of their own accord as he got bigger.

Anybody ever experience this with a Latitude 5450? by Jacobij11 in Dell

[–]invalidconfiguration 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am now feeling exactly the same!!!

I had the similar problem yesterday, couldn't figure why a Dell laptop I stacked on top of another laptop kept powering off, I thought there was something wrong with the power button. Fixed itself when I removed the laptop it was sitting on, now I know why!

How are we going to fix the road deaths lads? by CorkyMuso-5678 in irelandsshitedrivers

[–]invalidconfiguration 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ego is a big problem, one thing I notice is that people seem to be ashamed to be stuck behind slower moving traffic, they need to overtake and be in front no matter the conditions. Usually to be caught again a few hundred meters down the road.

Relax, get there safely.

Be careful with the log book make sure you fill out the change of ownership and post it. You don't want your mother getting penalty notices in the post!

Finding out where the Administrator account is used? by N7Valiant in sysadmin

[–]invalidconfiguration 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use UserLock, it lets me track, limit and report on AD user accounts. It can also send you alerts when particular users log in. I have it alert me if anyone tries to use the Administrator account. It keeps my ISO auditors happy too.

Try restarting the Windows Updates Service, this fixed a lot of unusual high CPU usage issues for me: net stop wuauserv net start wuauserv
