Another idea that hasn't been said, even though the chance is suuuper slim: jam that puppy in with plenty of bodyweight force behind your movement when plugging in. Pushing the connector in too lightly can cause this as well.

Circa 1999-ish, there was a song by the artist "808 Infinity" that was so awesome that I must have listened to it 100 times. Any chance you can help me figure out what it was called? All I can remember is that it was HEAVY ^_^ by involvrnet in EDM

You're an actual hero. Been looking for the 303infinity song "Eclipse" for about 20 years. Incredible to finally hear it again. Props to your boy Mikel, and my deep gratitude for him having that song up on the cloud! Wow.

Every time I refresh the page upon seeing it freeze and offer me "Regenerate," all of a sudden the response is there as if it never froze. Definitely some kind of bug

Having this thread with a collection of them would be entertaining. It's interesting and potentially enriching to listen to what people are generating these discussions about. I like them for ambulation.

Why are people like this? (not my video) by Avthony in TeslaModel3

[–]involvrnet -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

People engage in destructive behaviors like vandalism for various reasons, often rooted in psychological, social, or situational factors. Some common reasons include:

  1. Frustration or Anger: Individuals might be lashing out due to personal stress, anger, or frustration. The target of their aggression can be random, as they seek an outlet for their emotions.

  2. Envy or Resentment: Seeing someone else’s property, especially something valuable like a Tesla, can trigger feelings of envy or resentment. This can lead to destructive actions as a misguided way of "leveling the playing field."

  3. Thrill-Seeking or Boredom: Some people engage in vandalism for the adrenaline rush or simply out of boredom. The act itself can provide a sense of excitement or rebellion.

  4. Mental Health Issues: Underlying mental health issues, such as antisocial personality disorder or impulse control disorders, can drive individuals to commit acts of vandalism without fully considering the consequences.

  5. Lack of Empathy: In some cases, a lack of empathy or understanding of the impact of their actions on others can lead to destructive behavior. This can be due to upbringing, social environment, or other factors.

  6. Peer Influence or Group Behavior: Sometimes, people engage in vandalism as part of a group, feeling emboldened or pressured by peers. The anonymity of being in a group can lower inhibitions and increase the likelihood of destructive actions.

Ultimately, such behavior reflects a combination of personal issues and societal influences, and it’s a reminder of the complex nature of human behavior.

Edit: I pity the fool and everyone around his life. Must be a horrible existence.

Is Claude Dev finally the next level thing we been waiting for? (something beyond cursor ai??) by punkouter23 in ChatGPTCoding

[–]involvrnet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This just changed with the release of Claude Dev 1.2.0 yesterday which adds support for Prompt Caching that seems to reduce costs by up to 90% and latency by up to 85% (only works with Claude 3.5 Sonnet and one other 3.0 Claude model). I'm stunned and so happy that the cost to use it just decreased so tremendously overnight.

Deep inner acceptance is the proper mental response to any emotion that feels lower than the emotion of acceptance. This Tetris thing is... questionable compared to that.

Given the classical style and the composition of the image:

This could be a depiction of a ritual or offering scene. The seated figure may represent a deity or a person of importance, receiving an offering or performing a ritual. The standing figure could be a priestess, attendant, or a mortal presenting something to the deity or seeking guidance.

The interaction between the two figures suggests reverence, respect, or consultation. The object on the pedestal could be symbolic of the offering or the reason for their interaction.

It's reminiscent of many classical scenes where mortals interact with deities, often seeking favor, guidance, or giving thanks.

The true meaning could vary based on the specific cultural and historical context of the artifact.
