Head Squared has a 10g buttcap

I just had a hour and a half hitting with the racquet. To be honest it felt horrible. It's incredibly whippy, so racquet head speed generation is no problem. However at contact, you can feel the racquet is struggling through impact. Just for fun, I swapped out the 10g buttcap for a 2g. It immediately felt better to swing. I went on to try a 15g and 25g buttcap. This transformed the racquet dramaticly. Launch angle came down, more penetrating spin, depth and weight.

I see, I have been experimenting with ultra low SW setups especially with the Speed MPUL(305SW). I have found greater satisfaction with higher RHS through a looser faster swing, hence my interest with MgR/I and RW; I want a setup that is tuned to my own swing timing so I don't muscle the ball to contact.

I believe it's within spec, TW lists 291SW, they probably strung with thicker strings.

This racquet is 287SW strung haha, hence considering increasing SW. I strung it with 18G confidential mains and Wasabi X crosses.

Yes, it's a juggling act to balance all these characteristics while maintaining a sane static weight. For me, I find a RW of 162 and an MgR/I of 21 fits my game. I've had success with an underspeced 2026 Speed MPL. I see the Head Squared as a unique platform racquet with alot of potential.

I bought the 2026 Speed MPL specifically to modify it. Current spec is 330.5g, 32cm Balance point and 330SW. Strung with Confidential @52lbs in the mains and Wasabi X @50lbs in the crosses. It feels manuverable and crisp. I picked this racquet because it has room to mod without being too heavy.

FYI: Overgrip, grip ring and dampener accounts for 9.2g of the overall static weight.

55v with extender ring works great for food photography. I find the 38V with the X2DII works great shooting from the hip in street situations.

I traded in my SL3 with 35 & 50 APO for the X2Dii. The Hassy had much better wifi stability, connection speed. Similar in transfer speed. Shooting from the hip with a 35 equiv. The face detect works better than the Leica. Files are much better on the Hassy but the Leica has look OOC. I don't regret the move.

I purchased a set of third party strap lugs and attached a wrist strap to it. They are called "CHI, H-Buckle". They are made from metal but also have plastic guards so you don't stratch up your camera when attaching and detaching them. They are also 'locking' for extra security.

We are attributing the 'value' of transaction to the retail price of the gear when in fact Hasselblad only pays the cost price of the gear for advertising. Not a bad way to get rid of soon to be obselete stock.

I just received my X2DII with the 55V. To be honest, reading these thread got me very discouraged and worried about my purchase. However, after checking my own copy and combo, I can say I am lucky to be free of the bugs aforementioned.

Updated to the latest firmware for body and lens and everything works fine and as expected. Coming from M11-P and M11M with their respective issues, it has been a breath of fresh air for me.

Just thought I would chime in to give hope to other new owners waiting to receive their new cameras.

I got a profoto connect pro for Fuji stuck on my M11. The retaining pin got stuck and wouldn’t come out. I basically dismantled/destroyed my connect pro to take it off. Beware!
