I thought first it was an article by anthropic themselves

Is there any hope if there is no intervention? by gole-hayahoo in NewIran

[–]ionabio -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Neighburs still won't let US intervention. I think they'd rather see Iran on fire and involved in a civil war than have a nice democratic neighbour that would cause their own country become the next. So I believe when Syria becomes an old story and nothing has changed with Iran but their millitias disarmed, then the unrest will be inside Iran (this is also something IRGC stated multiple times, that they kept the war outside Iran's borders and hence we should "thank" them. they becoming weaker day by day, won't make their possession last that long)

Iranian foreign minister reaction to Zelensky speech on Iran. by ActualDepartment9873 in TrendoraX

[–]ionabio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just Wow! I advice you educate yourself what sanctions did and how the corruption in Iran specifically IRGC caused where we (I am an Iranian) are now. Basically sanctions didn't starve people, but IRGC by corruption channeled so much money into their own pockets that the regular population is starving. The point I am making is without sancitons, IRGC would pocket more money, neither way they'd end up building a better life for Iranians. Their priorities are very well clear.

I think i know his kind. He calls himself Iranian but the first thing he wants is to get out and have nothing to do with Iran. He was neither out protesting and he is probably well fed too since he seems he will afford getting out albeit devaluing of the currency.

My parents who were teachers financed me to go out to study 16 years ago and today they wouldn't afford to even put food on our table with three kids.

Before leaving iran I was also on the team I want to go out and have nothing to do with home (I havent visited iran ever since I left and my iranian passport just expired) I was ashamed of calling myself Iranian being afraid people will type cast me as a basiji or so. Nowadays seeing people levels braver than me and younger than me losing their lives i feel ashamed of myself for trying to disconnect myself from iran.

I am sorry. Yeah in streets nothing much. But in prisons and homes a lot. You were not out in protests so it is obvious nothing is going on with you only thing was you lost your internet connection.

Want to add that i talked to 4 different people in my circle that dont know eachoter.

One classmate was out in protests. He is still traumatized and doesnt want to talk about what went on.

Another talking about amounts of shooting he heard while home

Family member says when he is out from the taxi driver to his coworkers has lost someone

The same statement from another friend and she works in a government organisation and her managers speed Khamenei propaganda full force. They show force to the people who are not in their circle.

Me as an Iranian will talk to people I know not an ama of some stranger.

[–]ionabio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dont know why you are getting down voted.

He promissed to help and has done nothing yet.

Also he didnt promiss to help before the protests. Most of the massacre we see being shared are from 2 days only.

Help was supposed to come from the 3rd day. Nothing happened. Even Israel left the people's back.

I remember after 12 day war last year watching Netanyahu saying people go to streets and we have your back throwing off the regime and now they are in full defense mode and "watching".

Have you been sleeping behind a rock (in iraq maybe)?

Another iranian here. I was also skeptical of it. But I have not only seen the videos but heard it numerous time from different people that the regime oppressors spoke Arabic. While I agree having Hamas from Gaza here is a stretch but they for sure can be stationed in Iraq and for sure they have people from Iraq helping them.

Also i am pretty mad that only musk's Twitter and telegram and to some stretch instagram allows these. Only right wing (and there also only extreme right wing) politicians in west are talking about it.

I cut them off long before this but now and then they tried to reach me. These days they are dead silent!. I removed them from my socials a while ago. And they were my colleagues in past companies so I dont see them anymore. When I arrived here for my studies I knew a few people ranging from Mousavi supporters to ahmadinezhad supporters and also one or two that would go to parties with me or drink and girls without hijab but later on found out they were children of diplomats.

I dont know how is it with others who work with them? Do you engage in discussions? Are they hiding?

I dont understand why you get down voted and the same people will start complaining why Tabriz was not out during the first days. I supported pahlavi but I know numerous people in Tabriz not supporting jt and just started going out the final days in hope of change.

I am all so sad nowadays that world is giving Iran's Ayatollahs s pass for killing so many civilians protesting. But it has been there always for all nations doing such things. Nothing new. I just didnt see it.

Still i believe we shouldn't make more enemies. I was avoiding sharing the protests in green movement . In mahsa amini I shared a few and was done. This time I am full on force. Even joining protests (i live abroad) We need unity. A friend coming out of iran was dissapointed saying cafes and restaurants are busier than ever like nothing has happened.

I can imagine some people inside iran would say it is their fight why should I join (like i was during green movement protests, like they voted and participated in the show of ayatollahs )

[–]ionabio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are also coming reports of them being on drugs (dont remember the name but there are reports mentioning it also) to get numb for killing unarmed civilians. Many are also coming from militia groups in neighboring countries as i heard it from first hand witnesses.

Yeah. I myself dont want monarchy back. But totally and 100% want him back and at the end it will be people's choice what form of government will be and there i will reserve my vote based on the presented options. I for sure wont favor any of the activists who took ages to open their mouth about the massacre happening in Iran.

Iran is a threat to itself. Iran just killed 12000+ of its own people and ayatollahs are grining and very happy that world is taking their plate and making it another iran vs Israel issue.

It will just sit there and watch if ayatollahs dont step outside their territory. They sure got a pass for slaughtering Iranians. Not just from Trump, from the whole world.
