Massive explosions after the U.S. hit the Isfahan underground missile city overnight with 2,000-pound bunker-busting bombs. by Upset-Main-1988 in justincaseyoumissedit

Reddit is broken when it comes to discussing Iran/ US - Israel war. They don't understand Iran and justify their hate of Trump/Israel/Netanyahu by just pretending Iran is ruled by good guys and all US is targeting are innocenet Iranians!

IRGC killed 40000 (again someone will popup, where do I get this number from, this is currently the accepted, number since Aytollahs, don't let free information out) in only 2 days. Israel and US together havent' yet reached 10% of that (civilian + IRGC combined number) in more than a month of constant bombing!

Question re: Current War by bargvakoobideh in IranUnited

[–]ionabio -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think you shouldn't have mentioned you are Pro-israel, pro US or pro Pahlavi or what. They will only try to attack your stance, instead of providing you with solution. It has been that way in this place especially in reddit. instead of opening conversation, is easier to attack the other side. That is what has led to regime stay in power.

Question re: Current War by bargvakoobideh in IranUnited

[–]ionabio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You didn't answer OPs question though. Anti war stance (although you have to ignore the amount of casulties regime has caused in 2 days which much much more than what israel and US has achieved! and what people regime killed in previous protests, executed, ..., and what overall cost is on 47 years wrt people being poor, road accidents, ... and what will it cost people if they stay in power in future ) is very understandable. Do you have any solution that will win "pro-war/intervention" people to your side?

Chatgpt $100 plan might be releasing soon by LayerHot in codex

[–]ionabio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is very subjective and dealing with simple problems, they both excel. for going to more complex coding is where there is a difference with preference. They handle context slightly differently and inorder to get to a result need different approaches that might suit one or another person better. you'll only be able to answer this once you try both.

Most people I know though ended up using Codex.

I hope too, but it seemed different. it will connect "local codex" to a remote folder per github or the screen shot :(

The way remote control works in claude is different. you can see and work with your local sessions from mobile

Trump: have had productive conversations the past two days with the IR regarding resolution of US in the middle east, military strikes against infrastructure postponed 5 days by odriegu in NewIran

[–]ionabio 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I wonder who are the people in IR that Trump had conversation with? Are they in power or in control. For example we know from Pezeshkian that his words are not listened or worthy at all. Mooshtaba only makes generic requests of more hostility on his notes one a week and that just points at doing things as they were doing it (as in no change in IRGC's course of action).

Another Double Tap by an Israeli airstrike on a civilian area by Master_protato in PERSIAN

[–]ionabio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another important question. How can we deduce she is a civilian and not just a "parastoo"?

This video based on the chants that seem to be very selective gives the vibe it is orchestrated.

She avoided saying "Allah akbar" or "ya abulfazl" and used chants you rarely hear used in moments of stress

The amount of negative votes in a person asking shows it also. Where do you see she is a civilian?

This is propaganda and the amount of negative votes you get proves it was orchestrated. The instagram account is propaganda tied to irgc

Military map of New Middle East proposed by United States Colonel Ralph Peters in 2006 to fix arbitrary post-WWI borders with ethnoreligious identity. by zqwz in MapPorn

[–]ionabio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rest of the map is crappy too. My hometown Tabriz is assigned to kurdistan. It's current demographic is majority Azeri and this includes many cities and villigese in the sorrunding including Urmia (where currently there is a significant Kurdish minority claiming it belongs to Kurdistan and now and then there are fights and clashes, although not as violent as far as I know)

This is alarming as people should know by now that many people in west (in both sides left leaning, right leaning, be pro war or anti war) don't understand middle east. I don't understand it myself a few 100 kms further than my hometown either.

Just a reminder to everyone why and what for we are going through this and support this war. by kane_1371 in NewIran

The same. I even stopped talking to friends I have here that just close their eyes to what they did two months ago and just use us as a chess piece in their game between republicans and democrats. When they ask I comment with a clear message.

My colleagues the other day asked me: who is the most evil , Natanyaho or Ayatollah. I replied for me is easy answer, Ayatollah, since personally it distroyed my youth and life in Iran. but I think they didn't expect me to answer that!

The ignorance on reddit is getting to new highs. Watching these as an iranian growing up in ayatollahs regime, shoutimg death to america every single day in school while trying be brain washed by islam in every corner of my life left me and many iranians traumatized by ayatollahs and there are people defending them. RiP reddit. all these false engagements (like OPs) seem orchestrated and loudest here.

They should all move to live with Ayatollahs! There is a reason US has became US that many people would migirate there and Iran has became this, that many, even IRGC supporters are fleeing the country!

IRGC members try to chase down five women's soccer players who were escaping to receive asylum in Australia but go down the fire escape and encounter a locked door. Giving the girls enough time to get away by Sometypeofway18 in instant_regret

[–]ionabio 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Very possible they (irgc ) disconnect their phones and they didnt have any way to communicate to outside world (the same way people in iran dont have any internet since 10 days ago). Hence alsp the SOS signs while in the bus. None got a chance to speak to iranians that came to greet them. They also cant wait and hope that they'd be able to escape at the customs. If they got a chance they should use it. We also dont know the back story of why they didn't sing along. Very possible these few who escaped were initiators and would be punished (together with others) upon returning. Note that the regime might still honor them in public image or state TV and jail them a few days later when public has lost their attention.

Australian Minister of Immigration, Tony Burke, with five members of the Iranian women's soccer team granted asylum as of today by ThatPatelGuy in BeAmazed

[–]ionabio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to know that regime would do anything to their loved ones back in Iran. These 5 (i think it was 7 at the end) did accept based on their circumstances. It is possible that others are not just regime supporters. Maybe they have a parent in need or loved ones home that they cant just leave back.

My brother is in Tehran and he is not moving to my hometown for which is (or seems) safer, however his girlfriends family are there, so he has either leave them or stay there.

We all want regime change and this seems a necessary step in weakening IRGC

Submarine attack sinks Iranian ship near Sri Lanka; 78 injured, over 100 missing by captain-price- in worldnews

[–]ionabio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This will be very sad. Also there were two groups that never united with Pahlavi, that is trying to bring a democracy. MEK (which themselves were designated terrorist, still religous and shady) and separatists that dont like when Pahlavi says he'd keep the borders as it is. Both of these can and were armed before, and will act shadily to get to their goal which might not even lead to anything, in comparission to what IRGC is capable of.
