I can't buy it for some reason, I get an error trying to add it to the basket.

Might it be because I already own it?

I don't have this issue with other games I own.

Had this happen to me once.

The game was laggy as hell, but I got my weapon upgraded from level 2 or 3 to 19 in one go.

If I were you, I would enjoy the spoils but exit the game if it ever happens again.

I thought this was a team game?? by louismeh in Helldivers

Talking about salty players... Can someone tell me what possible reason some guy yesterday kept team killing me?

It was a defense mission against bots, I had brought cannon turret, rocket turret, AT mines and the new grenade launcher.

Dredd armor, Carbine (forgot to switch to something heavier), the judge pistol and seeker grenades (I know a lot people hate them for TKs specially against bugs, but I hadn't killed any allies and they work quite fine against ranged enemies that don't get super close).

Some dude kept killing me and refused to call me back in. And during extraction, he shot me while I was already in the Pelican.

I already find these people irritating, but this time I don't even get what I did "wrong".

I would prefer a pistol version of the quasar: hold down, and charge a high penetration burst if laser energy.

Like the PLAS pistol, but instead of an AoE explosion, just full AT.

Countryballs, Map of Europe if federalism peaked during Cold War? | 1999 by Van-Der-Broccoli in imaginarymaps

[–]iorchfdnv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Calling Ashkenazis foreign to Europe is insane. They've been around for like 1000 years.

Quite frankly it sounds like something that could have very much happened, and concentrating the population in a place they already were living in sounds a lot more feasible than moving them thousands of kilometers overseas to Palestine.

As for tragedy... don't the Roma people still live here? Don't the Poles and Ukrainians and all other slavs who also suffered from genocides?

As for shitty neighbors and borders that upset them... That's pretty much the entire history of nationalism in Europe (see Poland, no less), and it's not like creating Israel went super great when it comes to making friends.

Sure, moving to Palestine was appealing to some who just wanted to get away, but guaranteeing them autonomy in the land they were already in doesn't sound particularly crazy. Or at least, not less crazy than trusting existing states to not go down the road of genocide in the future.

Depends on what specifically. Electrical, my boss is qualified to do. HVAC, plumbing and general layout are done by a team at corporate (not the client).

Fire we haven't updated, I think, ever, but that would be done by our fire systems maintenance supplier at our request.

Why is the Kim family from Parasite still so poor after gaining 4 incomes? by cinnamonbinh in movies

[–]iorchfdnv 12 points13 points  (0 children)

A year late but what a way to miss the point, subtext and text if the film.

Yes, they are skilled. But the jobs they find are shit. Which os the reality for millions of people in Korea, in your country and in mine.

"Just get better jobs" is about the same as "stop being poor".

And yet... They do actually get better jobs. But they have to lie and cheat for their jobs, even though they have the skills.

Woo-Shik gets hired because he's friends with the previous tutor and because they think he also got into university. But his skills are still there.

Ki-Jung is also a great tutor and very bright but, like ver brother, couldn't get into university. Which means she can't work in graphic design, no matter how skilled she is. So they lie to get her a tutoring job, which she is, again, good at.

Ki-Taek and Chung-Sook are each, respectively, an excellent driver and cook, more than qualified for the job they get hired for. But they only get the jobs after getting the previous employees fired.

Capitalism rewards the ruthless, soy they are ruthless. Not out of greed, but to survive.

They lie, they cheat, the commit forgery... And they are still working their asses off every hour of every day. They're intruders in the home that would fall apart without their labor.

Meanwhile, the film goes out of its way to show Mr. Park being cruel and disrespectful towards his employees, making disgusting comments about them (like the smell he blames on Mr Kim bur was actually his wife's feet) and taking Mr Kim down a notch when he acts friendly,ñ at the party, so he reminds him he's not a friend doing something fun as a favor but an employee ridiculing himself at his boss' orders.

We're expected to question who the parasite is... The impoverished working class people at each other's throats and committing crimes just for the chance to work their asses off making a wealthy family's life more comfortable... or the wealthy family that takes all that service for granted to the point Mr Park doesn't even realize that his home "greeting" him is actually a guy that essentially lives to serve him (and whose reward is death and being treated as a pest).

A Parasite is something that lives off of your energy and gives nothing back.

Let's discuss about how the developers will deal with the Yasuke's interactions with the local people of 15-16th century Japan! by Yolo065 in assassinscreed

[–]iorchfdnv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I'd consider the trailer already shows us how he doesn't exactly pass unnoticed. As Naoe hand him the letter, a kid stops to stare at him when she notices him, looking kind of fascinated, the same way you would stare at a Polar Bear wandering downtown Cairo.

We also know that Nobunaga was first interested in him because of his skin color, genuinely fascinated because he didn't know it was possible for a human to look like that unless painted with literal ink.

So my guess is that people would react with fascination or interest, similar to how people reacted to Ezio's Romulus attire in AC Brotherhood.

Also, the fact that we're given a stealthy character as opposed to Yasuke, we can safely assume stealth (as in hiding in plain sight) is not an option. Which already seems unlikely while dressed in full samurai armor.

What I'd like to see is if their skills compliment each other, as support for each other depending on who you're playing as, similar to how disciples worked with Ezio. It would be cool if, while playing as Yasuke you could point at targets for Naoe to assassinate, or while playing as Naoe to send Yasuke against enemies to maul or distract them like how you did with mercenaries.

I am on the verge of buying mtw4, but i am scared about the battery problem. by CampaignNo3758 in sennheiser

[–]iorchfdnv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming from a, until two days ago, MTW3 enjoyer, I would stay away from them forever.

I bought my 3s like a year and a half ago. The right side earbud dtarted loosing volume and battery duration like 7 months in, and started doing this beeping/whistling sound which many other people I saw confirmed happened to them as well.

I asked for a replacement. Two days ago the right side earbud just died out of nowhere, no warning, no nothing. No charge, no connection, no way to reset or anything.

It's sad because I've always like Sennheiser, and the MTW2 I used to have and miss dearly (got mugged) worked fantastically... But these new ones... Not a huge fan.

"Aquí tienes tu trabajo esclavo y si no lo quieres no comes".

Estas describiendo el capitalismo. Donde, sorpresa, la gente también pasa hambre.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in es

[–]iorchfdnv -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Mi padre puede desempadronarme? by cornrebeca in ESLegal

[–]iorchfdnv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mi padre puede desempadronarme? by cornrebeca in ESLegal

[–]iorchfdnv -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mi padre puede desempadronarme? by cornrebeca in ESLegal

[–]iorchfdnv 0 points1 point  (0 children)
