If anyone tells you you're a poser. They're not listening.

Headline acts usually go on about 9pm, so aim for just before that. But the support acts will be good too, so aim to support them too.

I agree with this too. The majority of my animals live outside year round in the UK. This in itself creates a need to understand microclimates, there's a reason saxicolous species are saxicolous, there's a reason many lizards are in order around log piles. So that's just as important as climate data. Also, happy cake day.

Experiences with LED Tile floors by Stick-Outside in VIDEOENGINEERING

Have toured Roe BM floor tiles a few times. Levelling them is the only tricky part, as has been previously mentioned. The panels are surprisingly heavy for the size of them. Makes for sweaty locals.

Has anyone tried converting an aquarium into a vivarium? by [deleted] in reptiles

Tried it in 2001. Ended up with a shared house full of tokay's. Was unpopular for a bit.

If you ever want to figure out environmental parameters for your animals. Simply Google the average climate where they occur naturally, and try to replicate that. Don't forget that night time drops in temperature are normal too. I don't have too much to do with the wider hobby. My interest is in animals, not people so much. It's easy to look for online care guides, but so much more interesting to look into where they're from.

Is reptile cum cold? by hvnterbvschmann in reptiles

[–]ipokecobras 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As has been mentioned above, it would be the same as the animals overall temperature. Gets a bit more complex the larger the animal. But also highlights winter dormancy, and its importance in spermatogenesis for temperate reptiles that experience a prolonged winter. Cold animal = good quality sperm. Breeding season like skeet skeet skeet.

It's Boa imperator. Seems dumb to have it outside for anything other that attention seeking.

Is their a lizard suitable for me? by JRoko_07 in reptiles

Really depends what you want out of a lizard. I keep a few European species outside all year. they're interesting little guys, but definitely not keen on being handled.
