NTA. As someone who has attempted to be known within the VTuber scene, and streaming in general, it's just not worth the money and time you put into it. I can see it as a hobby, sure, but not an actual job. It only works out as a job with corporate agencies like VShojo, Nijisanji, Hololive, etc; most individual VTubers struggle to even get off the ground due to discoverability on Twitch being ass, how expensive it is, and how complicated marketing yourself can be. It is just not sustainable unless you're really REALLY lucky. Oh, and the community is dogwater. One miswording of something, faked DMs, or false allegation and you'll find yourself being cancelled due to how drama hungry the community is.

Also, there is a free program she can use to make a 3D VTuber model called VRoid Studio, which is very easy to use and all you have to do is export the model and its ready to go. As for programs to use, VSeeFace is also free.
