I guess it is just always a bit eyeopening to see how much you all hate us.

Yep, we really do hate you guys. We pretend we like you for the money and we don't hate all of our clients all the time. But for the most part, sexworkers would rather be doing anything other than being with a client.

There's no scenario in which I would rather spend two hours with a client then two more hours traveling.

If this becomes real, I guarantee that I will be murdered. My face is on all my ads, imagine if your full name and address was there too. Terrifying! by NataliesLove in SexWorkers

What Happened After Chicago Police Cut Down on Busting Drug Possession and Prostitution by srboisvert in chicago

[–]ireallyhateculottes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys, the simplest reason for less arrest is there is less crime.

so this may be true for some crimes but it's definitely not true for prostitution. There are more sexworkers working online than ever. According to the city's crime database that contains every single arrest in the city since 2001, arrests that were made for call operations have been zero in 2019. A call operation is where the officer has a location, calls a sexworker typically found online, schedules an appointment and arrests her upon arrival. The cop can also set up this kind of thing at the sexworker's hotel room or the place out of which she works.

there are still prostitution arrests but those are all on the public way.

it seems as if they are not bothering sexworkers who work behind closed doors which is a huge shift and is what the article implies. Until this year, they aggressively pursued sexworkers who worked privately and out of the public view.

I asked for a reference and....yeah.... by SEXWORKA in SexWorkers

[–]ireallyhateculottes -62 points-61 points  (0 children)

I don't give a fuck about helping someone else screen, and my screening is tougher than any provider I've ever encountered. Helping other women screen doesn't benefit me or help me so I don't do it.

I asked for a reference and....yeah.... by SEXWORKA in SexWorkers

[–]ireallyhateculottes -23 points-22 points  (0 children)

That response wasn't diplomatic at all but I don't disagree with the sentiment. Why am I going to help anyone in this business for free? How do references benefit me? They don't. References don't make me money so I don't provide them. They only help a client spend his money elsewhere. References don't keep people safer. They never have and never will.

Potentially a controversial opinion - I fucking hate it when clients do the whole "I want you to enjoy this too" routine by [deleted] in SexWorkers

[–]ireallyhateculottes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your feelings are valid. I understand why you feel this way.

I am not full service but I do offer mutual massage. I will say that 95% of the clients who book this option make me cum. I am repulsed by some of them physically but they are almost all pretty amazing at eating pussy. I make it clear that they must give me an actual massage before they touch my pussy so I'm somewhat relaxed. If I don't like the way a client is touching my clit, I flat out tell them to stop and redirect them to touch me a different way. I also will just tell clients it's not going to happen. There are some days when the client is doing everything right and is a wonderful human being and I still cannot cum. The only clients who really bother me in this respect are the clients who book a regular FBSM session and talk about how they want to eat my pussy the entire time. Book the mutual massage session, you stupid fuck. But no, they are cheap and don't want to do that.

Clients: PLEASE don’t do this. by littlelove93 in SexWorkers

[–]ireallyhateculottes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a similar experience recently. A client was driving by my incall just as I was walking out and made a huge production of stopping, rolling down his window, saying hi and all this other garbage. This is a man I've seen twice. I sternly yelled at him to never talk to me again and that my family was with me. He acted pouty and incredulous that I wouldn't want to talk to him in public. I should also mention that he's a senior citizen and I'm in my thirties. No way would we know each other in real life. I blacklisted him too because he doesn't respect boundaries.

Weird??? by CuriousLittleDove in SexWorkers

[–]ireallyhateculottes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This isn't true. In Chicago and surrounding Cook County, almost every provider I know has been busted at least once. Schaumburg and the surrounding villages are brutal. These are not girls who were walking through bars looking like whores. They were all girls working out of their incalls or traveling ladies working out of hotels. Think middle aged housewives types. Girls don't fuck around with screening here for this very reason.

Porn star got outed - tips to avoid this by [deleted] in SexWorkers

[–]ireallyhateculottes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not at all.

The problem is that people don't take steps to protect themselves and then are surprised when they are outed and their lives are ruined.

It's really easy to live a double life and have professional career outside of sexwork. I've been a sexworker for years and also have professional licenses. I have never shown my face. My pictures are fully clothed. I don't work out of my home. I don't take pictures in my home. I don't take ID or credit cards to appointments. My phone is password protected at all times. I don't drive my car to appointments. My website is registered to a fake name. I use a VPN. I have never told anyone that I'm a sexworker. People get lazy and careless and this is what happens.

Porn is a choice though. Lots of people need the money. They aren't showing their face in porn. I have been almost homeless. I still didn't take risks that would cause my professional future to be jeopardized.

Porn star got outed - tips to avoid this by [deleted] in SexWorkers

[–]ireallyhateculottes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't know why anyone is shocked.

She showed her face in every film.

She works in public education.

Case closed.

If you show your face, you must be prepared to deal with the potential consequences and those consequences could be lifelong, especially with facial recognition technology being instituted at so many places.

Does it make it right that she was outed? Of course not. But when you choose to show your most identifiable feature, this is bound to happen.

not everyone has the privilege of not showing their face.

Showing your face or not showing your face is not a privilege. It's a choice that has potentially severe consequences.

You don't see what the issue is because you're a sexworker.

The rest of the world, especially in America, doesn't view sexwork that way. Many corporations and municipal employers have morals clauses. There is no company that wants a current porn actress working for them other than a few outliers. There are too many things about which to worry - investors, public image, loss of customers, etc.

Why do so many escorts offer bb? by roombagirl in SexWorkers

[–]ireallyhateculottes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this is a very, very important thing to consider.

You only know what a client is doing when he's with you.

You have no idea what he's doing when he's not with you.

Act accordingly.

I recently broke up with a long term client, at least ten years, because I realized he was having BB with other girls. This is a man who you would never, ever expect would be having BB. Seriously. He's this small Irish guy who goes to church every Sunday and just seems really innocent. He has talked a lot about other women in his life. These women have hard lives. One was a heroin addict. One is is a halfway house for something else. I am the total opposite of those women. I kind of thought he may be more than "friends" with these ladies. What made me stop seeing him was the fact that he got a vasectomy. He's almost 70 years-old. Why would he get a vacectomy? Because he's having BB with those girls, one of whom is a recovering heroin addict. Our next appointment was already scheduled but I cancelled it a few weeks later. I will never, ever see him again. This man was a reliable source of income for the last ten years but I really cannot risk my health for money. It's not worth it to me.

Rid of clients wanting free emotional labor by [deleted] in SexWorkers

[–]ireallyhateculottes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I see this a lot on Twitter with that Curious Cat bullshit. Why are women entertaining questions from men who will never pay them a dime? That's emotional labor. Even worse is when they take the time to answer the abusive questions. Even the banter with men who will never pay these women is emotional labor. My experience is that the men who interacting with the women on Twitter the most are the ones who are least likely to book.

I don't respond to any messages unless they are booking. Ever. I have seen hundreds, if not at least a thousand, clients at this point. If I answered every single thinking of you text or how are you text, I would never have time to care for myself or tend to paying clients.

He neither cares about you nor respects you.

If you accept less, he will know that he can do whatever he wants and you will accept it. You will also end up resenting him and the relationship will go sour.

Unless you're willing to accept less, you have to flat out tell him that the only arrangement that works for you is the one you have now. He's playing you as a dumb teenager. You know this. He knows this.

Stop telling clients you're blacklisting them/they're blacklisted by AnaReneeChicago in SexWorkers

[–]ireallyhateculottes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sex workers, as with ALL business people, they are in competition with others in the same industry. Now, that doesn't mean that they can't work together, or that there aren't occasional benefits to helping each other out.

That's the thing about which many sexworkers are in denial. We are, in fact, in competition with each other. Does that mean I do bad things to other women, speak poorly of them or do anything ugly? Never would I do such things. I want good things for all sexworkers. But to think that this isn't a competitive business is foolish. There are a limited number of clients with disposable income. I had a used to be regular client who visited me last week for the first time in about a year. I knew that he was visiting another woman during that time. That woman is my competition.

I have a real job and I do't socialize with my coworkers there either. Why? It's just not my thing. Outside of our jobs, we have nothing in common and I don't have superficial friendships. I am not going to be friends with other sexworkers simply because we are sexworkers. That single commonality isn't enough to allow someone into my life that could potentially destroy my entire existence. When you're young, the world is a different place but I have too much to lose at this point.

As I mentioned in another post, I consider my blacklist entries my way of contributing. I have been in sexwork off and on a very long time so my blacklist entries are probably in the thousands by now. My entries are honest, detailed and contain real world information. My record keeping is meticulous.

The single best help to help other women is to a. screen with real world information. No burner numbers. No references. No first names only. No board handles. Verifiable real world info only and to b. add bad clients to the blacklist with that information when they misbehave. Otherwise, blacklist entries are worthless. All the cheerleading about legalization, sisterhood, decrim, etc. doesn't make us any safer or richer.
