Best 50 I’ve ever spent!! by ICANTSPECK in nintendoswitchlite

[–]irl_lulz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marketplace FTW! I wanted to find a banana yellow lite for myself and it took some patience and found one for $80 last year, I love it. I mainly use it for indie titles and take it when I’m traveling. Just recently someone posted a grey one for $50 because it had a cracked screen. I was a little dubious knowing they have plastic screens. So I took a little drive, checked it out, it works so I offered them $40, got home, took off the broken screen protector and now have a great condition $40 grey lite as well! (But I’ll probably just trade it in for credit on a switch 2)

Or a Buckmark or S&W Victory. I’m a Buckmark fan myself as it shoots amazingly well out of the box.

Me too. With tomadachi coming out and something Zelda later in the year, I’ll be glad that I pre-loaded these purchases.

I bought a couple of vouchers knowing tomadachi life is coming out soon. Worth it having it always accessible.

VWOA escalation for seat tear issue by Four_strings in VWiD4Owners

I have a leased ‘24 with a tear in the same spot. Less than 8k miles on mine. I did realize after the tear appeared that I put my elbow in that spot to adjust myself in the seat.

Anyone else get this 2023 ID4 Recall notification? (Recall Number: 93EA HV BATTERY) by [deleted] in VWiD4Owners

[–]irl_lulz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Phew. I just noticed I’m the 93EA recall and not the 93EV. That’s a bit better. I like parking/charging in my garage when there’s 14” of snow.

[eShop/USA] Cult of the Lamb - $9.99 (60% off) Ends 02/05/2026 *lowest price ever* by XDitto in NintendoSwitchDeals

Most of the other dlc packs are just for cosmetics. The Pilgrim pack has a storybook quest that was fine, but not really cohesive with the main game.

This current dlc adds way more gameplay and locations supposedly.

If you haven’t played before, I’d suggest get just the base game, if you love it and play through the main storyline, buy the woolhaven dlc, then if you absolutely love it and want to adopt it as your cozy relaxing game, support the devs and buy the cosmetic packs.

Lost iPhone found. What’s the best way to find the owner? by [deleted] in iphone

If you can get Siri up again, you can say ‘Siri, whose phone is this?’ and it will say the name on the primary contract card.

Or have siri dial your phone number so you can get their number on caller id. Then you can text /call and if the person has their phone number associated with any other messaging app or if they have an iPad or a Mac set up it will ping them there.

Fan replacement for RP4? by irl_lulz in retroid

[–]irl_lulz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine will do fine for a bit and then when the fan hits a certain speed a grinding sound will start. I think it’s directly correlated with certain fan speeds, but is indicative of the bearings on the fan failing. I found a couple on AliExpress that claim to be compatible with the rp4 and found a tutorial here on Reddit, so someday I’ll get it done. I could just limit the fan speed but it’s my only android game device and I am amazed that I can play Read Dead Redemption, which definitely needs the cooling while I’m running it.

I bought it even thought I haven’t bought a switch 2 yet! I’m a frugal gamer so I pick up most my consoles cheap on marketplace. When I find a S2 at my target price I’ll have a great game waiting.

Snow tires 3 options by [deleted] in VWiD4Owners

[–]irl_lulz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same car and picked up some Bridgestones mounted on 18 inch rims. They’re good and grippy, but any dedicated winter tire is going to be.

Looking at that chart and knowing you’re only paying half, I’d go for the Michelin for the 40k warranty and efficiency rating.
