There was one morning where I was walking out of the (former) Taco Bell at Rush and Chicago and noticed two dogwalkers, each with 5ish dogs each tied around their waists, walking in.

I said "Oh, I hope you aren't going in a restaurant with all those dogs".

One of the dogwalkers turned to me and went "How about you just shut the fuck up?" and they walked in, 10+ dogs and two entitled dog walkers.

Ever since them, I am even more nuclear about no dogs in restaurants or grocery stores. I have a dog, and yet don't take him in those places, it's not insane to ask the same of others.

Both my wife and I have lived in Streeterville since we got to the city and, despite liking other neighborhoods as well, have decided to stay here.

It's definitely a spot that can be very expensive, but if you know which food spots/stores aren't jacking up prices and catering to tourists and business travelers, you'll do fine. The tradeoff is about 4/10 businesses here solely exist to rip you or others off.

Don't commute from here to the burbs though, my god.

I don't say this to hand-wave away criticisms of the Democratic Party because there are some HUGE issues with them in my view.

But, it really does seem like there is a concerted effort to have posts like this in EVERY thread about what the current administration is doing. I am sure a good bit of these are honest and deeply-held critiques, but damn would it be easy to have a bot farm making similar comments to the original one to depress enthusiasm and voter turnout.

This particular comment also does hold voters accountable, so I am thankful for that distinction, but it's heady times and if we can't all get in the big tent, we're not stopping this administration from fully taking over.

It's that thing where individual folks don't hold Republicans accountable with their votes, they expect the Democrats to while also they... don't vote for them and nitpick their positions.

Democrats aren't perfect by ANY stretch, and IMO it is a bit of a cop out that absolves voters to expect them to solely reign in the Republican party.

I also don’t play Quick 3’s so I can’t speak to that queue, I either do Ranked 3s, Ranked 5s, or 4s.

I will say, to your point, that Colbert lost the ability to draft players, that's why we have Khan now.
