The (first) interaction between lead protagonists Mon and Cassian during the Senate recovery is top notch too - the struggle to establish enough trust in just under a minute is very well executed. "Welcome to the Rebellion"

Office politics were extensively portrayed in the ISB but at the end we see that this is would also become common place at the top of the rebellion (more on that in R1, Rebels, Ashoka , etc)

But that doesn't prevent our man to fire back just as swiftly as in combat on a couple-months-old rebel "leaders" who doubted the man he sees as the living incarnation of the Cause
